“Anyone can have a shadow self, but normally they are dormant. However, as a side effect of perusing the divine knowledge capsule, especially on mortals, their shadow self will be given a consciousness. In order for this to be fixed, he needs to recognize and accept his shadow self as a part of him. That’s how his soul will be whole again.”
Alhaitham started to show signs of forgetfulness. It wasn’t just misplacing something, but sometimes, Alhaitham wouldn’t remember he’d said or done something and ask about it later. It was like there were gaps in his memories. One day, Alhaitham woke up and started acting completely differently, overtaken by his Shadow. Kaveh now must make a trip to Alhaitham's subconscious to get him back.
Or: Kaveh gets a look inside Alhaitham’s mind. Literally.

Faranak visits Kaveh after years of distance. The first thing she does is ask when they're going to have children. She... isn't exactly ready to take no for an answer. A one-shot featuring Kaveh's strained relationship with his mother, way too much pressure to have kids, and my dislike of cishet norms being forced onto queer relationships. As well as Alhaitham's stupid not-soup.
