upon discovering a new plant, thanks to rei’s endless and bountiful collecting, he decides to do some experimenting for the sake of his curiosity. kuya gets a little too eager, snatching it off the hands of rei.
this causes them to fight (as usual, honestly, when have they ever had a normal conversation for once in their long long lives?), and through the power of constantly shaking it, it produces quite an interesting conclusion.
and maybe they skipped the method and analysis along the way.
