Iceman turned around so that they were face to face, mere inches apart. “You left.”
One look at his face set Maverick on edge, the snarky jab he had carefully prepared immediately lost. His skin was too pale, littered with the purples and blues that matched his own from those short few months ago. His eyes, though sunken, were just as blue as the kind of skies pilots dreamed of, stretching endlessly in every direction without a cloud to be seen. But there was something heavy being carried in his eyes. It was unnerving. Something had happened while he was gone.

“Of course I do!” Bobby insisted. He trusted his crew with every bone in his body. But within him was a little boy with dried tear tracks on his face, clutching plucked feathers to his chest. Summary
Marc-Andre Fleury can understand why people are so interested in Cors. It’s kind of hard to believe that professional sports teams have a physical equivalent of a spirit animal, having manifested as a result of some magical energy surrounding the team and the fanbase.
Marc-Andre knew Vegas' Cor would form eventually and it was possible that their Cor may form within the next couple of years, but he didn't believe that it would have happened before the season even began. Or that it would be a bacon-loving, mischievous, golden dragon that takes after him far too much for it’s own good.

Why make things more complicated and frustrating than they have to be? Michael could swear they were doing things like this to make transitioning more difficult. If society was trying to in any way persuade him to leave the military with their large collection of soups, then someone should let them know that it wasn’t working. Why do they have so many different kinds of soups?
