All she wants to focus on is the fact that she still has Jinu with her.
He trails slightly behind her, squinting up at flashy billboards and glancing around at all of the different establishments that definitely weren’t around in the Joseon Dynasty. Rumi never forgets Jinu’s actual age. She’s always the first one to call Jinu old when he doesn’t understand something about the modern day, whether that be how to use a cellphone or current slang. She also never forgets how much he never got to experience, falling victim to Gwi-Ma’s manipulations so young.
So, now that the Honmoon shines with iridescent colors above them and people aren’t having their souls stolen by demons, she’s decided that they both deserve a normal date. No swords, no secret plots, no demons, no voices. Just the two of them, just a nice, peaceful date.
A first date. Rumi’s first date.

Instead of being at all cowed, Jinu’s eyes shine fever-bright as he leans forward and says eagerly, “This is just the start, what we need is a rival boy band.”
“…a demon boy band?” Romance says incredulously. “You really have lost your mind—in an especially court musician way. Who would even join you?”
“Well, I was thinking you for starters,” Jinu says, propping his chin on his hand, nearly slipping again, and then quickly rearranging himself to lounge nonchalantly.
Or Romance is pretty dubious about this entire demon boy-band idea, but if it's the only way to make another deal with Gwi-Ma, he's going to endure. And if along the way he gets to eat some eye-candy and share some banter with a certain muscular bandmate or the tall, mean huntress, that's just a bonus.

Though initially hesitant to part with her girlfriend, Adora decides that Catra’s safety is more important. They have all the time in the world to be together anyway. Or so she thinks.
Alternatively: Catra breaks up with Adora a few weeks into their relationship. They remain friends, and Adora nearly falls apart, except... she can’t shake this feeling that Catra still wants her. Still loves her too. So why did Catra call it quits?

Adora's smile also disappeared from her face. She was looking at Catra, with a puzzled look in her eyes, like she was just asked to take a test. Catra lets go of her, crossing her own arms. Adora sat back up and, for a few moments, they wouldn't look eachother in the eye. Something had happened. Something weird. And it was Catra's fault, probably.
