Summary
It didn't take long for Caitlyn to seep back in, to pulse bright beneath Vi's skin.
Note: This is the first in a series of short standalone fics that will be part of what I'm calling my 'Shimmer Vamp' series. The premise is that Caitlyn was injured during an as-yet unspecified altercation. To save her, she ended up on Singed's table. Whatever he used--some new strain of shimmer, perhaps--essentially turned Caitlyn into a vampire.
Diverges from canon sometime after 2x04.

Summary
It’s stupid when it happens.
They’re at some bar in the undercity, trying to get information, and Caitlyn is careful with her drinks. Vi guesses growing up that pretty must mean you have to be.
Unfortunately, careful doesn’t really work against this. It’s a practical joke. Some mean, practical joke against the pretty faced topsider asking too many unwelcome questions. At least, that’s what Vi has to keep telling herself so she doesn’t spin back around and kill someone.
