Summary
At age 14, Midoriya Izuku manifests a quirk. His only problem? It's the weirdest quirk he's ever seen.
"The Gamer" lets Midoriya live life like a video game: stats, skills, XP, and inventory included. And despite its irregularity, Midoriya decides to use it to be the best hero he can be! But... things don’t exactly go according to plan.
When circumstances force Midoriya to register as having regular analysis quirk, he's obliged to max out his intelligence and wisdom stats to keep up the lie. Not to mention keeping the rest of his abilities a secret. After all, the last thing he needs right now is suspicion, not after registering his quirk late and under... to put it charitably, unusual circumstances.
Becoming a hero might just have gotten a little more complicated.

"These are the heroes who have been hired as the more spotlight ones. Of course, UA tried to be discreet with 'upgrading' the heroes, since having top heroes would be suspicious but..."
Hitoshi saw at 7 of his father's infamous problem children.
"...they hired the top heroes too since they can use the excuse of a reunion with their precious homeroom teacher on his first year as principal, of course", Hitoshi sighed out.
"I bet dad said something along the lines of 'it would be illogical not to call them' or something."
Tsukauchi chuckled, "Or something."
Hitoshi hummed, "So dad doesn't want me near his problem children", he smirked. He knew his dad loved his hell class, but the idea of them meeting Hitoshi terrified not only Pops, but also the cat man himself.
"Oh I'm gonna love messing with dad's class. And the dads themselves. Count me in."
Aizawa sighed, "This is Wit. An underground hero I work with a lot and had orders not to meet you." Dad sent a glare to Hitoshi, who smirked, "Awe, dad, aren't you happy to see your son", he blinked his eyes innocently. "No."
Hitoshi gripped his chest, "Ouch."

Shinsou Hitoshi,You, young Shinsou, have been approved to join Covert: Project Underground, a new project to make more underground heroes. Little people know about this, the only people in this world who will know about this will be the UA staff, the HPSC, a few officers I trust, and some top (and underground) heroes. And now you (and your immediate family).
Now, I know this might not be what you wanted. You might feel as if you haven't earned this, or that this project seems like a knockoff of the proper hero course.
But young Hitoshi,
You can be a hero.

Hitoshi was ready to give up when the fateful letter arrived; leading to a long year of actually nice teachers, friends, villains(?), parents(??), a boyfriend(???) and finally......he gets to be a hero.

“It’s not a quirk,” Izuku tells the poor sod, who looks like he needs to catch up on four years of sleep and has been combating that fact with caffeine pills and spite alone. “It’s breathing. I’m literally just breathing. Do you want me to stop breathing?” he demands. When Eraserhead glares at him like he’s murdered someone (which he has, technically, but what is someone, really), Izuku sniffs righteously and says, “Stop glaring at me!”
Eraserhead takes a deep breath.
“Breathing, yes, like that,” Izuku says eagerly. “Want to see me do it too?”
“No,” says Eraserhead.
Midoriya Izuku's family tree may or may not include one Kamado Tanjirou.
