Summary
One of my favourite television shows is Call The Midwife. It can be a bit sappy at times, if not slightly unbelievable, but you must admit the emotional punches are visceral. In the episode where Jenny leaves on sabbatical after the death of her boyfriend, Sister Monica Joan rushes to the car and recites the poem, Jenny Kiss'd Me, by Leigh Hunt. Oh, I cry and cry every time. It was the inspiration for this piece.
