Stiles’ sleep is light at best, restless normally, constantly waking up from what Theo assumes are unsettling dreams that only tire that brilliant brain of his more than anything else.
So yes, Stiles must be exhausted tonight because Theo didn’t have to use the neglected bathroom window to get in and his breathing is so deep, his heartbeat so steady, he might just be able to stay and watch longer this time.
It sends a thrill down his spine, something like excitement thrumming through his veins.

Frozen, heart beating frantic inside his ribcage and brain spasming out with all sorts of incoherent, panicked thoughts, Stiles feels Brett’s nose brush past his earlobe, smelling him.
It works like a jolt of electricity, bringing back all sorts of sensations, memories, feelings, and Theo. In his bed, lying next to him, teasing him, messing up his train of thought with the way his nose buried in Stiles’ neck to smell him, to kiss him, to scent him.Theo, Theo, Theo.

Theo shrugs a little, “I just, I thought I heard you doubt my anatomy knowledge just earlier, maybe I should study.” The hint of sarcasm, mixed with fake seriousness has Stiles biting off the urge to laugh, “maybe you should shut up,” Stiles tells him instead, matter-of-factly. Fucking little shit.
Theo laughs, has the audacity of pulling away to dodge Stiles when he tries to go for another kiss, and Stiles groans in frustration, head falls back on the bed as he rolls his eyes. Fuck this is going to be a thing, isn’t it?
“No, I feel like I need to show you,” Theo says, voice low.

Summary
Stiles fumbles to open the window, “Theo, what the fuck?!” he whisper-screams, looks around to the neighboring houses. He can feel his heart hammering in his chest.
And Theo says “hi.”

Stiles can’t help but just stare at him. It’s like he lives in another world, seriously. If his neighbors see him, it’s gonna be so much fun explaining to his dad what the hell was some boy doing at Stiles’s window right when the sheriff was on night shift, that’s just amazing timing really.
“You can’t just be there!” Stiles says, upper body out of the window at this point, points at Theo’s general direction waving a little like a crazy person, furrowed brow and exasperated look on his face that only gets worse just as Theo jumps off his truck to run towards the house and starts climbing up to Stiles’ window like it’s nothing, reaches a open mouthed Stiles, hooks his hand up and inside on the top of the window to keep his balance.
“Was that my invite in?”

Summary
Stiles head is a mess. The jealousy that’s burning under his skin is building up in his chest in a way that barely lets him breathe and deep down he knows, he does know that he’s turning this on Theo. That he’s going into defense mode for a stupid reason, drunk and fed up of waiting for Theo to come after him again. And he’s doing a pretty fucking shitty job at it because, fuck, Theo can probably see right through him, but it’s so much easier to be jealous and angry, than jealous and hurt.
Because jealous and hurt means he cares.
