“It’s not just that.” Yeonjun lowered his voice. “It’s the rumour.”
“The rumour isn’t true,” Beomgyu snapped with a harshness Taehyun wouldn’t have thought him capable of.
“And I’m supposed to just believe you? Everyone knows the rumour.” Yeonjun glanced at Taehyun’s confused expression. “Everyone except Taehyun, apparently.”

Summary
Yeonjun feels like a failure.
Being fired two weeks before Christmas would have that effect on someone. Still, he deals with it himself, putting up a front of happiness around others. He doesn't want to ruin Christmas Eve with his boyfriend.
But of course, Soobin can see straight through his mask.
