Summary
Harry's second school year ended with him and Tom finding out what heinous acts Voldemort committed to achieve immortality and why Tom exists in Harry's head in the first place. The discovery that Tom, the Riddle of the Diary and Voldemort are born of the same soul came as a huge shock, but with the help of his best friends, Neville and Hermione, Harry soon realized that Tom is is own person now and fundamentally different from is arch enemy they both seek to destroy. So Harry's and Tom's summer holidays start with a to-do-list: Survive the first weeks with the Dursleys, meet with his friends and find and destroy another soul piece of the Dark Lord. They could really do without the complications of an escaped mass murderer coming after Harry!

Summary
Normally I include explanations to canon interpretation in the relevant chapters of my stories. This time, when I was ruminating on how exactly the Trace might work (not really relevant to the published part of the series yet), my list of arguments and examples got way too long, and will probably only interest a minority. So I'm putting it out here for anybody interested in finding logical explanations for things that sometimes seem to be a bit inconsistent in canon.
I might add other chapters to it, depending on what comes up.

Summary
This is an essay in which I'm trying to make sense of events in 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets'.
What did Lucius know about the diary and why did he plant it on Ginny? What exactly happened in Hogwarts in 1943? Why did nobody ever suspect a basilisk behind the attacks? Why did nobody ask Myrtle how she died? Who else was harmed, and how? What was the purpose of the Chamber? Who hid the entrance behind a sink? Why did he think a pipe-slide was a good way to enter the Chamber? How did the basilisk manage to get around in pipes? Why did nobody ever see a big snake roaming the hallways? How did Ginny manage to set the basilisk on her fellow students? Why wasn't she killed by the basilisk's gaze?
I believe I found reasonable answers to all of these questions, but I welcome counter-arguments and discussions! (In truth, I'm fully expecting zero readers for this, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong :) )

Very good story about a Mary who stutters when nervous and hardly ever gets to raise her voice. Darcy is impressed with her piano performance (which wasn't as bad as it seemed in the movies, just very misunderstood by an unappreciative audience) at the Netherfield Ball and sets up a penpal friendship between her and Georgiana. This changes things for all involved. Definitely worth a re-read!

A really enjoyable and well-written story in which Darcy is alerted to Lizzie's disdain before actually making his proposal. He realizes that he has to proceed in a very different way and decides to court her. The rest is fluffy but in a realistic way, with real-life, 'sensible' quarrels that have to be worked out in any relationship. It was a very entertaining read! I very much enjoyed reading Darcy's perspective and feel like I gained new insights into his character.

Summary for my own purposes - Spoilers ahead!
Lovely story with a really original idea: Ground Hog Day meets P&P. Darcy is changing into a better man in the first half of the story while trying to win Elisabeth's heart. The second half is just very nice fluff. And enjoyable read which is true to the atmosphere, the time period and the characters of my favorite movie. Very well-written. Definitely worth a re-read.

What an incredible story: Harry raising Tom who raises Severus!
Summary for my own purposes .... Spoilers ahead!
....
Harry dies of old age and wakes in the baby body of Tom Riddle. Like a guardian angel in his head, he guides Tom through live, who, as an adult confesses that he loves him. They die of old age together, after having invented numerous potions, a new sports, cures for illnesses and other stuff.
Has a genius, asexual ans very logical Tom.
