Chapter 1: He's Just a Little Weird

Notes:

hi :)

so,, i wanted to write something a little different and it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea but i find it very pleasant to write and read about. i don't regress myself but my best friend does and a lot of this is based on his experience so i'm trying to keep this as accurate as possible but you are very welcome to comment if i get anything wrong or i don't really make things as accurate as they could be.

this is also my second time writing for this fandom so to keep myself safe from the 'this is ooc!!!' comments i aged them up to be at the start of their third year. i made their third year out to be sorta like VCAL in Australia (specifically Victoria) where you only go to school 3 days a week, work placement one day and TAFE the other day but for this instead of going to TAFE, they just do hero work the two days they are not in classes.

(dont hate me for putting mitsuki in prison but i wanted to have a reason for katsuki's age regression and her abuse seemed like a pretty good reason)

also Iida swears in this, not a lot but enough for it to be a warning ig

anyway enjoy :)

Chapter Text

Age regression was Katsuki’s coping mechanism.

Some people deal with their stress by controlling their breathing, doing yoga, drowning their sorrows in coffee, drugs or alcohol. Katsuki chooses to drown his in stuffed animals, binkies and his caregiver.

Katsuki found out he was a little, a few months before the entrance exams for U.A. Longing stares at the kids’ section in stores, catching himself sucking his thumb when he got a little too comfortable, unconsciously slurring and pitching his speech up when he was tired etc. He shouldn’t have been all that surprised really. His mother ripped his childhood away from him, putting him up to unrealistic expectations and beating him if he didn’t meet them. He hated it at first, as most would assume. Screaming into his pillow became an almost daily occurrence, as did his mother screaming at him for not being good enough. His repression came to a screeching halt when one night his mother’s screaming became so unbearable that his mind forced itself into regression. Fortunately, for him at least, his mother was on her way down stairs he fell into little space. He was scared at first. Sure, he did research on this when the ‘urges’ arose but nothing prepared him for the sudden fall into a child’s mindset. It was nothing short of terrifying.

Katsuki made sure that when he fell into little space, he was either home alone or his parents were in bed as too not give them another reason to think he was weak.
He started out with small things at first. Stealing small amounts of money from his parents’ old credit cards to buy cheap pacifiers, stuffed animals and children’s colouring books. Of course, he bought these over a large period of time as to not only make his parents suspicious, but the store owners and his classmates. As if they were going to be in the children’s section of the mall but just for precaution, ya ’know.

Everything was going great. He had a schedule as to when he would fall into his space, mainly after his parents went to bed or when he went to bed but it was still a schedule. He spent most of his time in little space watching children’s cartoons, colouring and having arguments with his stuffed All Might toy about him being the number one hero when he grows up. Everything was perfect.

Until Izuku found out.

When Deku found out it wasn’t a particularly good day.

His mother was unusually harsh when she scolded him for accidentally using his quirk indoors. Playing video games in the living room, he blew up a priceless vase in the heat of the moment. His mother got right up in his face, screamed expletives, hurtful comments about how ‘with a quirk like his he was bound to become a villain’, he was destined to be destructive and hitting him anywhere that could be covered easily. There was a certain look in his mother’s eyes that convinced him she wasn’t going to stop until he was unconscious. A blew to the head was all it took for him to muster up the courage to push her off him. Scared and in pain he ran out of the house, not even bothering to shut the door behind him.

Angry tears streamed down the blonde’s face as he ran through his neighbourhood wanting, needing, to get away from his house, his mother. His legs ached and his lungs burned. At the speed he was running at, people would assume he was being chased, and to him, he was. He could almost hear his mother screaming after him, her infuriating screeching rang in his ears as he picked up speed.

As he ran, a familiar apartment complex came into view. Deku’s house. His legs carried him toward the building and before he could comprehend what was happening, he was in front of Deku’s apartment. He raised his hand to knock on the door but caught himself before his hand met the wood. He hadn’t even spoken to the nerd in months let alone seen him in person, even if he stopped giving the nerd a hard time, he would guarantee Deku wouldn’t give him the time of fucking day with all that emotional trauma Katsuki caused. He ran a shaky hand through his hair.

“Why the fuck am I here?” he whispered to himself. An exasperated sigh escaped his lips as he knocked on the door, already regretting showing up at his…. acquaintance’s? house. He waited a few seconds, his foot tapping anxiously against the hardwood floor of the hallway. He sighed and turned to walk away but clicking of the door opening stopped him.
“…Kachan?” he turned around and was immediately met with the big green eyes that were oh so familiar. The only thing that seemed to be different about them was they didn’t have the same happy and joyous spark they once held. Katsuki suddenly felt the well-acquainted feeling of guilt fill his stomach. The blonde shook his head and cleared his throat before he spoke.

“H-hey, Izu-Deku” he mentally cursed himself for stuttering but he could feel himself losing grip of his headspace, fuzziness filling his brain. He’s honestly surprised how he didn’t slip earlier with how fucking bad his parents triggered him. Deku’s soft voice pulls him out of his thoughts.

“What are you doing here Kachan? No! Not that I don’t want you here, I love that you’re here. Well not love love but really like that you’re here. Oh! Mom’s gonna freak she missed you so much. So did I but I think she missed you more, I’ll tell her to make katsudon for y- “Katsuki’s sweaty palm shut him up. Fuck, he did not miss that. Deku’s eyes widened in surprise, not only because Kachan was touching him, but because he didn’t blow him up or threaten him for his muttering like he usually does.
“Please, for the love of frickin’ All Might, shut up” Katsuki tried to sound threatening but with how fast he was falling into his space, a small child doesn’t sound all that threatening.

Deku looked at him with a cocked eyebrow as Katsuki removed his hand from Deku’s dumb face. Christ, he could practically hear the thoughts going through the nerd’s big ass head. Katsuki held up his hand to stop Deku before he even got the chance to ask any of the millions of questions and queries his childhood friend had.
“I’ll explain later but I really need a nap before I start acting weirder so…can I come in?” Katsuki sounded way timider than he wanted but he was too tired and out of it to care. But seriously, if Deku doesn’t let him in and take a nap, he will cry.

“Uhm o-okay I’ll go make some warm milk for you. W-wait for me in my room, I will bring it up, ‘k?” Deku said with a small smile, almost as if he already knew where this night was gonna go. Screw Deku and his creepy ass observant skills. But dammit if warm milk didn’t sound absolutely heavenly right now. Deku moved out of the way to let Katsuki in and he was hit with an almost violent wave of nostalgia. Everything down to the smell reminded him of all the times he came here as a young child. Memories of sitting too close to the TV with Deku watching the latest All Might movie on repeat until they passed out, playing hero in the backyard whilst Auntie Inko caught up with his mom, those were the things that pushed him fully into little space. He could feel all his worries and anxieties melt away as he fell into his safe space.

“Zuzu? Can you please make it chocolate milk?” Katsuki’s unusually soft voice spoke from the entrance to the kitchen and Deku almost dropped the mug with how fast he turned around. It wasn’t even the fact that Katsuki was speaking like a child that caught him off guard, it was the casual use of a nickname that hadn’t been spoken in over a decade that made him almost activate One For All.

“Y-y-yeah Kachan I-I can make it ch-chocolate milk. Do you still want it warm?” Izuku asked, his voice strangled and weary, his mind still trying to catch up with the complete 180 Katsuki just did. The smaller teen looked over at his childhood friend who gave an excited nod at the offer. Deku face split into huge grin at the pure joy radiating off Katsuki. Maybe this wouldn’t be too weird to deal with after all.

When the entrance exams finally arrived Katsuki and Izuku had become friends again, not quite as close as they were but close enough for them to be more open with each other. Katsuki, surprisingly, was the first to open up. He cried for the first time in a long time as he told Izuku what his mother does to him, even going as far as to show him the scars she made. That conversation turned into why he regresses, a conversation the blonde was dreading but he owed Izuku an explanation. The fear that Izuku would stop talking to him because of his little side evaporated when Izuku wrapped his arms around Katsuki and told him he would still love him. The week before they got ready for the entrance exams (and when Izuku wasn’t training with All Might) they told Auntie Inko about Katsuki, his parents and his age regression. She was immediately taken aback by the news and told Katsuki that she would do everything in her power to keep him safe, effectively taking him under her wing as her own son. She let him take over the guest room and decorate it however he wanted as he told her he wasn’t allowed to quote unquote “ruin his parents hard work with his childish ideals”. As for his little self, she made sure he had the proper things to make him comfortable, keeping things such as pacifiers, sippy cups, kid’s toys, colouring books and movies as well as the stuff that Katsuki already had around the house, making sure to hide them enough that guests coming around wouldn’t question.

When Katsuki became more comfortable being little around the Midoriyas, he started thinking of them as his big brother and his ‘Nana’. Izuku turned into ‘Zuzu-nii’ and Inko turned into ‘Nana Inko’ and staying true to their Midoriya traits, they both almost flooded the entire apartment complex when he first called them that. Katsuki was a bit scared to call Inko ‘Nana’ due to her insecurity about her age but she told him she already thought of Little Katsuki as her grandson anyway. He hugged her extra tight that day.
The Midoriyas never failed to make him feel happy and comfortable every time he fell into headspace and Katsuki loved them a little bit more because of it.

-------------------------

Katsuki fell into headspace the moment he stepped into the Midoriya’s home, er, his home now. Inko managed to get the rights to Katsuki until he turned eighteen. His mother was in prison for child abuse and neglect and she wouldn’t be out for a few years, Katsuki had filed a restraining order against her so he wouldn’t have to face her when she got out, and his father wasn’t charged since he never actually abused him just watched and did nothing but and he was stripped of his parental rights. Even though he was not required to, his father gave Inko monthly checks to support him and his new family. The checks were large as the Bakugous were quite wealthy so they helped out a lot, Inko was able to buy a bigger house only a few blocks away from U.A.. She made sure to buy a house that was big enough to not only house all three of them but also Little Katsuki. They had turned one of the guest rooms into Little Katsuki’s playroom, fully furnished like every five-year old’s dream. Shelves filled from carpet to ceiling with toys and books, pastel rainbow walls covered with All Might posters and photos of him and his loved ones, a specially made All Might themed bed in the corner and a large chest filled with toys. The door was pale blue with the name ‘Kitty’ in all white painted in the centre. His favourite stuffies stayed on his bed respectfully. It was a surprise to Katsuki and for someone who doesn’t cry a lot out of headspace, he sobbed openly when he opened the door, hugging Izuku and Inko so tightly he feared he might’ve broken their backs.

Katsuki swayed on his feet as he walked into the living room where Nana was reading. Katsuki smiled and clumsily skipped over to her and climbed into her lap. It was a bit awkward due to him being 5”10 and Inko being seven inches shorter than him but neither complained at first.

“Mmm hi Nana” Katsuki said sleepily as he nuzzled his face into Inko’s neck.

“Hi baby, how was work?” Inko asked, raising a hand to smooth Katsuki’s unruly hair down.

“Hard. I miss Daddy” Katsuki closed his eyes, unable to keep them open anymore but not quite falling asleep.

“Aww, I know you do baby but Tenya has some grownup things to do. He’ll be back in a few days and give you all the cuddles you precious heart desires” Inko kissed Katsuki’s brow as he keened at the thought of cuddling his Daddy, a small smile stayed on his lips. The blond sighed softly as he started to drift off, only to be interrupted by two pats on the backside.

“Kitty, baby, my sweet boy, Nana’s too small for you too fall asleep on and quite frankly my legs are falling asleep” Inko said slowly trying to coax the boy off her lap. Katsuki grumbled and held onto the poor woman tighter. Luckily Izuku was closing the front door, his and Katsuki’s bags in hand when Inko looked over to him with pleading eyes. Izuku was quick to put down the bags and hurry over to his mother and picked up the sleepy boy, placing his on his hip. Being 6”1 really helped in situations like these.

“Zuzu-nii will you read me a story please?” Katsuki asked sweetly into Izuku’s shoulder, his eyes still closed but his mouth was pushed into an adorable pout that Izuku just couldn’t say no to.

“Of course, anything for my polite Kitty” Izuku smiled as Katsuki keened at the praise, squirming slightly. It was completely innocent but Izuku couldn’t help but get a bit pink in the cheeks.

When they got to Katsuki’s playroom, Izuku fished the key from around his neck, and unlocked it. He walked inside and placed Katsuki under the covers of his bed. A small smile appeared on his face when he saw Katsuki struggle to decide which All Might stuffie he was going to sleep with. Not one to break a promise, Izuku picked up the book from the bedside table, at down on the beanbag close to the bed and started reading from where the bookmark was placed.

“‘Curiouser and curiouser!’ cried Alice (she was so much surprised, that for the moment she quite forgot how to speak good English); ‘now I’m opening out like the largest telescope that ever was! Good-bye, feet!’ (for when she looked down at her feet, they seemed to be almost out of sight, they were getting so far off). ‘Oh, my poor little feet, I wonder who will put on your shoes and stockings for you now, dears? I’m sure I shan’t be able! I shall be a great deal too far off to trouble myself about you: you must manage the best way you can; —but I must be kind to them,’ thought Alice, ‘or perhaps they won’t walk the way I want to go! Let me see: I’ll give them a new pair of boots every Christmas.’
And she went on planning to herself how she would manage it. ‘They must go by the carrier,’ she thought; ‘and how funny it’ll seem, sending presents to one’s own feet! And how odd the directions will look!” he read, his words soft and slow. He opened his mouth to read on but was interrupted by soft snores. Izuku smiled and placed the book mark back in the page and placed it back on the little table. He stood up before leaning over and kissing Katsuki’s head and turning to walk out the room, making sure to leave the door open.
Down the hall and in the kitchen, Inko was fixing up dinner for her boys, leaving Katsuki’s small bowl in the microwave so it would still be warm when he woke up. When Izuku came down he sat at the table with his mother and thanked her for the meal. They ate in a comfortable silence, nothing really to say. Although Inko did break the silence when she said,

“He works too hard that boy, maybe we could go on vacation during break. Oh! We could bring Tenya along too. You can bring that handsome Kirishima boy if you’d like” Inko proposed throwing a teasing wink at her son who was beet red in the face.

“Mom! I don’t like Ei-kun like that! Besides he’s still getting over his breakup with Mina-chan!” Izuku said, trying and failing to hid his face behind his hand. His mother laughed at him from across the table.

“Honey, you call him ‘Ei-kun’ for heaven's sake. Not even Katsuki calls him that and they're best friends! Give it time and then confess your undying love for him. Bring him around for dinner sometime too, dear. Oh, don’t give me that look I see the way he looks when he’s over, its like watching a lovesick puppy” Inko giggled at her son’s shocked and embarrassed face. The green haired boy grumbled and finished his meal, too embarrassed to look at his mother. His feelings for a particularly fine-looking redhead were completely platonic! Sure he daydreamed about hugging and kissing him and holding his hand and maybe he was a little happy when Kirishima told him about the end of his relationship with Mina and maybe he wouldn’t be opposed to the idea of marr- ok fine he had a crush on Kirishima but that wasn’t anyone’s business and it certainly wasn’t his meddling mothers business either. He loved her but sometimes he felt like she belonged in the dorms with the rest of the teens.
~^~
Hours had passed when Katsuki finally emerged from his room, decked out in dino pyjamas. Holding his favourite teddy bear Inko bought him the weekend after he came out to her under his arm. He rubbed his eyes with his fists tiredly and sad down on the couch next to Inko.

“Hey sweet boy, nice nap?” Inko said, running her hand up and down Katsuki’s back as he curled up into her side, resting his head on her shoulder.

“Mhm. Daddy called when I woke up. He said he misses me and asked if I was being a good boy for Nana and Zuzu-nii and I said Kitty was being pol-ploet uhm-”

“Polite”

“Yep and he said when he comes back, we can get ice-cream for being a good Kitty!” Katsuki said excitedly, practically vibrating in his seat from all the praise. Inko smiled at him and kissed his head.

“Your daddy is going to be very proud of you for being the best little boy in the whole world” Katsuki’s face split into a grin and he wrapped his arms around Inko. She laughed and hugged him back kissing all over his face when he pulled away.

“Ahhh! Nana tickles!” he squealed trying to get away. She laughed but stopped, pulling him into her side.

“Do you wanna watch a movie, sweetie?” Katsuki nodded and asked for ‘Tangled’. Inko hummed approvingly and pulled up the film. They were in the middle of the film when she realised Katsuki hadn’t eaten yet. As if on cue, Izuku came in with Katsuki’s dinner and a juice box, placing it in his lap. The boy didn’t even take his eyes away from the movie as he thanked Izuku and ate. Izuku laughed softly at the movie choice. He was sure they had watched this at least eight times in the past month but Katsuki loved it so he didn’t complain. He sat down beside Katsuki, throwing his arm over the back of the couch.

They were a happy little family.

If only Daddy were here.

Chapter 2: Daddy's Home

Summary:

this is just pure, unprocessed fluff that i badly needed to write today. so brush your teeth after this bc you're probably going to get cavities. also can i just say that little katsuki is the cutest darn thing ever i love writing him

Notes:

so i really like the headcanon that in third year iida just gets hella confident but not too confident he is unrecognisable.

also I would like to make a quick PSA: this story is rated mature for three things; swearing, implied/mild sexual content and some themes. although the rating may change at some point i can assure you, when katsuki is in little space, the furthest he and tenya go is kissing. it makes me slightly uncomfortable reading nsfw content when a character is in little space so im keeping it strictly sfw.

Chapter Text

Tenya came back from an emergency family meeting across the country on a Wednesday afternoon. A school day. He was finally able to see his baby boy after a week apart, the longest they’ve gone without seeing each other and quite frankly, Tenya misses Katsuki more than he probably should. He just hasn’t been able to take care of his baby, not that he doesn’t trust the Midoriyas to properly take care of him, but he has a specific set of rules him and Katsuki follow and usually after spending too much time with his family he forgets those rules and Tenya doesn’t particularly like reminding him.

Since Tenya had arrived at U.A after classes had finished, he decided to surprise Katsuki when he came back from the gym. Although he didn’t really plan for Katsuki being later than his usual two-hour workout so he made himself busy by unpacking and tidying up their room. He stopped at a picture frame of him and Katsuki. He remembers the photo was at the end of their second year on their sixth month anniversary. Mrs Midoriya had rented out an entire movie theatre that was playing old All Might movies from his golden age, as a surprise. In the photo, Katsuki was wrapped around Tenya’s front like a koala. They both had their heads thrown back, laughing, so much so that Tenya’s glasses were askew, although he couldn’t remember what at, he was sure it was something inane. Mrs Midoriya took that photo and kept it and hung it up in her living room. Tenya traced the photo with his finger, pulling back just as the door opened.

“Tenya!” Katsuki yelled in surprise. Tenya didn’t have much time to think before Katsuki was in his arms and kissing him so hard he feared he might bruise. Tenya kissed back just as hard. Their tongues slid against each other lazily as they kissed messily. The obscene noises shouldn’t have made Tenya feel as good as they did.

“Mmmm,” he heard Katsuki sigh as he pulled away, a string of saliva connecting their lips. Katsuki chuckled and wiped his swollen mouth.

“That was fucking gross but oh so worth it. I missed you, honey” Katsuki said, resting his forehead against Tenya’s. Tenya sighed and kissed his lips once more this time more chaste and affectionate.

“I missed you too, darling. So much.” Tenya’s deep voice rumbled in his chest making Katsuki shiver sightly. He squeezed Katsuki’s ass teasingly, chuckling lightly at the gasp that escaped the blond. Katsuki let out a soft moan as Tenya ground his hips up into the others. As Katsuki got slightly more desperate, the blue-haired man set him back down on the ground gently.

“You cruel motherfucker” Katsuki hissed. Tenya laughed.

“Mmm to be fair, it is the only reason you’re with me” Tenya teased, pecking one of Katsuki’s puffed out cheeks. He grabbed Katsuki’s hand and tugged him to the bed, pulling him down on top of him. They shifted slightly to get comfortable. Katsuki nuzzled his face into Tenya’s neck, kissing it softly. Tenya ran his hand through Katsuki’s sweat-damp hair. He wrinkled his nose in disgust as he sniffed the air.

“You stink. Go shower” Tenya said ultimately breaking the sweet silence he had with Katsuki after a week of nonstop meetings and noise.

“Always the charmer” Katsuki grumbled but got up anyway. Before he got to the ensuite, he turned back towards his boyfriend. “You comin’ or what?”
Tenya smirked before getting up and hoisting Katsuki up onto his hip. Katsuki yelped in surprise but kissed Tenya’s cheek anyway.

“I love you” he whispered into Tenya’s ear.

“I love you too”

~^~

The intimacy of bathing together in the safety of Tenya’s arms made Katsuki comfortably start his decline into little space. The stress of him not having his caregiver there with him for a week made the fall faster than normal.

He got dressed in pjs that had black and white cats on them. He collected his teddies and placed them on their bed in a specific order as he waited for his daddy to finish up in the bathroom. He wasn’t fully in his headspace so he was somewhat coherent, it was almost like being in a limbo of sorts. When his daddy emerged from the bathroom, Katsuki could already see the change in his demeanour. He looked way more dominating, his posture was straighter, he’d taken out his contacts and put on his glasses and his face wore nothing but complete seriousness. Katsuki knew that Tenya needed to be in his own headspace to take care of Katsuki or else this part of their relationship wouldn’t work out.

A deep chuckle brought him out of his trance. “Do you wanna go say goodnight to Izuku, baby?” Katsuki nodded excitedly and jumped off the bed, taking the outstretched hand offered to him. This was what they did every night, no matter how tired they were, Katsuki refused to go to sleep until he said goodnight to his Zuzu-nii. The first couple of nights he and Tenya shared a dorm, Tenya told Katsuki he couldn’t go to Izuku’s, Katsuki threw a tantrum. Kicking and screaming until Tenya gave up on trying to calm him down and took him to the green-haired man's room. Although Katsuki did get punished for throwing a tantrum, it was worth it. He got to see his third favourite person behind Daddy and Nana.

When they got to Izuku’s door, it was shut but not locked which was odd. Katsuki had told Tenya that Izuku never shut his door until Katsuki went to say goodnight to him, so seeing it shut gave him a slightly unsettled feeling in his stomach.

Katsuki huffed and went to open the door but was only stopped by weird noises, strangled and garbled words that were almost yelled and the bed frame creaked. He made an alarming noise in the back of his throat and tugged at his daddy’s hand.

“Daddy! There’s a monster in Zuzu-Nii's room! He’s gonna get hurt! Come on we have to save him!” Katsuki was hysterical, tugging at Tenya’s hand harder. Tenya looked at him and then the door, he leaned over and put his ear against the door, not hearing anything and wondered if Katsuki was overtired and hearing things until he heard it. A high pitched, loud, strangled moan echoed through the walls of the hallway. Katsuki watched in fear as his daddy recoiled back so fast he almost toppled over.

“Did the monster get you too, Daddy!” Katsuki shook in terror, tears cascaded down his face as his knees buckled.

“No, no my dear! I can assure you I am fine, the monster did not get me, I promise” Katsuki was quick to wrap his arms around Daddy’s shoulders, pressing his wet face into the taller man’s neck sobbing violently. He felt Tenya tap his thigh twice, signalling him to jump and he did, wrapping his legs tightly around his daddy’s waist.

“I’m going to take you back to the room and then I’m going to talk to Izuku and make sure he’s alright. He’ll come up and say goodnight, okay?” Katsuki nodded in his shoulder, his sobbing calmed down. Daddy rubbed his back softly, whispering soothing words into the shorter’s ear calming him down even more until he was calm enough to speak.

“will you save Zuzu-nii from the monster?” a sharp gasp startles his daddy. “is he gonna d-d-die!?” Katsuki shuddered violently, almost falling out of Tenya’s arms, but the bigger man had a stronghold on him.

“None of that thinking now. He’s not going to get hurt, I will save him from the monster then I’ll bring him to you so you can see. I promise baby, nothing is going to happen to him.” Daddy said firmly, planting a kiss on Katsuki’s forehead. He hadn’t even realised they had made it back to their room until he was being laid down into the bed. He pulled his knees up to his chest, grabbing his favourite All Might teddy and hugging it so tightly some of the stitched popped, fluff pouring out if the holes.

“C-c-can I have b-big boy k-kisses p-p-please?” Katsuki said in a small voice. Daddy turned around from where he was at the door and gave him a fond smile.

“Anything for my sweet Prince” he strode over to Katsuki and placed his lips softly onto the blonds. A small giggle escaped Katsuki as his daddy nipped his bottom lip playfully. Daddy pulled away and exited the room, leaving a now brave but still very scared little boy on the bed.

~^~

Tenya was furious. Izuku was having sex when he knew his baby boy would come to see him? Unacceptable. Not only that but in the dorms as well?! Absolutely disgusting. Oh, how badly he wanted to lecture the green-haired man to death about being mindful of the other people that happen to live here whilst fornicating with another student but alas, he promised Katsuki he would ‘save’ Izuku. He sighed heavily and pushed up his glasses as he approached Midoriya’s door, knocking on it harshly.

Banging and clashing mixed in with a few muffled curses were heard before the door opened. When it opened, Tenya was met with a very dishevelled Izuku, his pants were put on backwards, hair messier than usual, his neck looked like a small animal attacked it and Tenya was 100% sure that wasn’t even his shirt. They stared at each other for a few awkward before Izuku opened his mouth to speak.

“Uhm, h-hey Tenya-Kun. What brings you here?” Izuku says, not meeting Tenya’s eyes. Tenya rolled his eyes and crossed his arms across his chest.

“Cut the shit Midoriya, you know why I am here. Katsuki is currently in our room scared out of his mind because when we were here before, he thought you were being attacked by a monster so now he thinks I’m here to save you” Tenya was seething with rage at the sheepish look Izuku gave him. He said it quietly enough that Kirishima couldn’t hear.

“I-I, erm, don’t know wh-what you m-mean. I was just studying with K-Kirishima-Kun” Tenya rolled his eyes harder at the obvious lie.

“Kirishima is in the middle of putting his clothes on, you have his shirt on and this entire room smells like sex so, no you were not ‘just studying’” Tenya said, his voice harsh and his brows furrowed in annoyance. “Clean yourself up and come back out. You have 30 seconds.” And with that, Tenya shut the door and leaned on the wall next to it, timing Izuku.
When Izuku finally emerged from the room exactly 30 seconds later, he was in a hoodie, strategically hiding the hickeys and bite marks and his pants were on the right way.

“Good. Come with me. You’re going to say goodnight to Katsuki and act like you were saved by a monster” Tenya ordered, staring straight ahead as they entered the elevator. Izuku audibly gulped

They arrived at Tenya’s room and Katsuki was surprisingly still awake, playing with his teddies. He looked up and smiled wide when he saw Tenya and Izuku.

“Zuzu! You’re okay! The monster sounded so scary but Daddy said he was going to save you!” Katsuki said, looking Izuku up and down, haphazardly checking him for injuries.

“Yes baby, the monster was very scary but your daddy saved me. He scared it away!” Izuku said excitedly, reaching down slightly to hug Katsuki. Looking over at Tenya with wary eyes hoping he was safe from the blue-haired man’s wrath. Tenya sighed and gave him a small smile and clapped him on the back.

“’Re you sure you’re okay?” Katsuki asked in a small voice once Izuku released him from the hug. Izuku gave him a blinding grin and smoothed some of his hair down.

“Positive baby. Now I need to get back to bed and I’m sure it's past your bedtime and we don’t want you being cranky in the morning now do we?” Katsuki blushed lightly and shook his head. “Good boy” Izuku kissed Katsuki’s forehead and giggled lightly when he saw the blond boy melt under the praise.

“Goodnight Zuzu-nii. I love you” Katsuki stood on his toes and kissed Izuku’s cheek. Izuku blushed hard and grabbed his chest.

“Awwwee! You are the cutest little thing. I love you, too, Kitty” Izuku squealed, kissing Katsuki once more on the forehead before leaving the room.

“Come now, Katsuki, time for bed,” Tenya said, walking over to Katsuki and picking him up, placing him on his hip. Katsuki laid his head on Tenya’s shoulder and let out a loud yawn. Tenya chuckled deeply and placed him in bed gently. Tenya lifted the covers and climbed in beside him. He put an arm around Katsuki’s waist and pulled him into his side. He placed a lingering kiss upon the unruly hair of his baby boy.

“Goodnight, Daddy. I love you” Katsuki mumbled into Tenya’s chest, already half asleep.

“Goodnight my love. I love you so much.” He felt Katsuki smile.

Daddy was finally home.

Chapter 3: New Friends? Part 1

Summary:

Falling into his space was the easiest thing in the world when it finally happened.

Though, he didn’t exactly plan on dropping in front of everyone in the common area when he came back.

Notes:

this is where it gets sorta angsty but not the angstiest this story is gonna get. i would like to say that i don't hate kirishima i love him with all my heart but i needed someone to be not okay with katsuki's age regression and kiri was an easy target. he does get a redemption arc later on but you may or may not hate him after these next chapters

Chapter Text

Katsuki had a shit day.

He slept through his alarm, getting a mouthful from Aizawa when he was late. Tenya wasn’t even in class since he was excused due to finishing paperwork at the Ingenium agency for his brother. He wouldn’t be back until the last period so Katsuki couldn’t even hang out with him at break. Those damn extras annoyed the shit out of him. It was mainly Kirishima going on and on about Deku (not that he didn’t love Deku like a brother but he did not need the exact measurements of his dick, fucks sake) furthering souring his mood.

In English, he forgot to bring his homework with him. Mic ended up giving him detention, pissing him off to extents even himself didn’t believe were possible. Even though he tried to explain to the loud man that it was in his room if only he could just run and get it but the man kept denying him. He wanted to fucking strangle someone.

Training came around and he almost killed Monoma. The prick deserved it, but he was trying to be a hero no matter how much he wanted to blast that copycat bastard all the way to America. It took half the faculty members to get him to calm down. Aizawa and All Might ended up restraining him as Midnight knocked him out. He was sent to recovery girl due to his blistered hands and torn muscles in his triceps.

Falling into his space was the easiest thing in the world when it finally happened.

Though, he didn’t exactly plan on dropping in front of everyone in the common area when he came back.

He dropped into his space so hard and fast he fell to his knees, alerting his classmates who were all sitting around watching some stupid 80’s slasher film.

His vision was slightly blurry and his mind was fuzzy. 3 pairs of feet came into view, he tried looking up at the faces that these feet belonged to but all he was met with was indistinguishable blobs of red, green and brown. He was confused. He couldn’t really remember anything. All he wanted was Daddy. Blinking his bleary eyes, they started to make out the faces. Kirishima, Tsuyu and Uraraka stood in front of him, the rest of the class stood concerned behind the trio. They were all talking but they were all too loud for him to understand. He was scared. His hands had a white-knuckled grip on his backpack and backed up against the wall.

“W-w-w-where’s my-my D-daddy?” Katsuki asked meekly, shutting everyone up. A loud squawk followed by the sound of tape being pulled and the cut was heard. Since he still couldn’t see very well, he only felt someone kneel in front of him. They put their hand on his knee and he whimpered in fear recoiling away from the touch, deciding he didn’t like it.

“Shh, Bakugou I won’t touch you again okay? Can you tell me who your daddy is? What’s his name?” a female voice he remembered being Uraraka’s, asked. He tilted his head in confusion. Daddy didn’t have a name. These people are kinda dumb.

“…. Daddy’s name is Daddy” Katsuki answered. Uraraka giggled and Katsuki found himself smiling a little. He liked that noise. She seemed nice. He liked her.

“Do we know your daddy? Does he go to school here?” Katsuki thought for a second and then nodded.

“H-he has uhm blue hair. And he is big. Bigger than me and he wears goggles”

“Your daddy is Iida-Kun kero?” Tsuyu asked. Katsuki shrugged.

“Yo, am I the only one hearing this? Blasty just said he has a daddy! Why isn’t anyone filming?”

“Yes idiot, we hear it too but what does it matter. He was- put your fucking phone away Mineta- he was obviously hit by a quirk we just gotta take him to Recovery Girl” Uraraka said and Katsuki wanted to say he doesn’t feel sick but was interrupted by a deep voice.

“Who was hit by a quirk?” Daddy asked, walking into the common area. Katsuki lit up.

“Daddy!” he jumped into his daddy’s arms and planted a kiss on his cheek. “I missed you all day!” Katsuki whined. The entire room froze. Cackles and snickers grew louder and they made Katsuki deflate. People were making fun of him, but he didn’t do anything wrong, did he? His daddy froze too and he could feel tears welling up in his eyes. Not daddy too. Katsuki wiggled in his daddy’s hold trying to escape it but his daddy held on tighter. He didn’t know what to do so he screamed bloody murder. His daddy dropped him out of shock and he ran to the corner on the other side of the room. The entire room stood in shock, staring at their hot-headed, badass, scary classmate sobbing in the corner like he just saw someone shoot his cat.

“Is anyone gonna tell me what’s going on or are we just gonna act like this isn’t even happening.” Sero asked everyone. No one seemed to even start trying to comprehend what happened. Tenya even looked hesitant to speak. Thankfully, Izuku skidded into the common room just in time.

“What. The. Fuck. Happened.” Izuku sounded absolutely livid. He made a beeline for Katsuki, not letting anyone explain.

“Awe, Kitty what happened?” Izuku asked in a gentle voice, obviously not caring about the audience they had.

“T-t-t-they l-laughed at m-me and t-t-then D-d-d-d-daddy d-dropped me!” Katsuki sobbed.

“YOU DROPPED HIM??!!” Izuku screamed at Tenya who was still silent but his face turned cold when the words came out of Izuku’s mouth.

“I didn’t drop him. He screamed and startled me. He simply fell out of my grasp.”

“Can someone please tell us what’s going on?!” Jirou piped up from where she was standing in the huddle and Tenya and Izuku made brief eye contact as if they were having a wordless conversation. Tenya nodded and watched Izuku pick up Katsuki and walk out of the room.

“So…”

“Katsuki suffers from major PTSD, anxiety and depression. What you all saw was him dealing with his stress. It’s called age regression. His mind basically turns into a child’s to get away or ‘escape’ adult life and his stressors” Tenya explained once everyone sat down. They all looked at him in disbelief. Momo was the first to speak.

“So, when he’s stressed, he acts like a baby...?” she asked wearily, not wanting to get it wrong and offend her friend. Tenya nodded.

“Precisely. Though his is more he acts like a child more so than a baby. His headspace is more 5-6 years old depending on the day. I, as his significant other, am his caregiver. I essentially parent him so to speak.”

“Wait, wait, wait, so lemme get this straight. Bakugou Katsuki, Blasty, the meanest guy in the class, the dudes whose vocabulary only consist of the word ‘die’, insults and various curse words, acts like a toddler in his free time?! And you’re okay with it?! Isn’t that like...illegal?” Kaminari asked looking as though he was holding in laughter though promptly shut up once Tenya glared at him.

“We don’t have sex when he regresses if that’s what you’re insinuating. The furthest we go is kissing and even then, we keep it to a minimum. There is nothing ‘illegal’ as you put it about our relationship. I would like to make it very clear that you don’t have to interact with him when he regresses but I want you to treat him the same as you have over the time you have known him. This is extremely important to both Katsuki and I and we both want you to be comfortable with this. In saying that, I would not hesitate to break your jaw if I find out you’re giving him a hard time because of this. I suggest you apologise to him if he comes back.” Tenya’s eyes narrowed at…certain classmates. Ochako leaned forward.

“Ten, none of us are going to belittle him because of this. I think I can speak for most of us when I say we would be glad to help you and Katsuki in any way we can.” She gave him a bright smile and Tenya let out a sigh of relief.

A chorus of ‘yeahs’ made him smile a little wider. His gaze fell on a certain redhead who looked dare he say disgusted. Tenya opened his mouth to say something but before he could, Kirishima stood up and ran out of the room. Mina made a move to follow him and Tenya thought the worst but she stopped and turned around.

“I’ll go see what’s up with him. And I love Katsuki like a brother I would never make him feel bad about something that makes him happy, even if it is a little unexpected. I’ll be honoured to help you and Kat. Also, I have been dreaming of a day where I could pamper him so thank you so much for this new opportunity, I’m going to abuse the shit out of it” she said with a giggle and a wink and ran off to find Kirishima. Tenya was flattered but also slightly terrified of what she meant by pampered.

“We did wish to tell you all at some point, we just didn’t know when. So, I apologise deeply for it being like this” Tenya ended his apology with a bow. Tsuyu opened her mouth to speak but a small voice from the entrance stopped her.

“…. Daddy?” all the head in the room turned to look at Katsuki. He was wearing one of Izuku’s hoodies and some sweatpants, holding one of his All Might bears. Tenya opened his arms and Katsuki ran into them.

“I’m sorry I dropped you baby. You’re not hurt, are you?” Tenya looked him over, ignoring the ‘awes’ from the group.

“No, just scary”

“I’m sorry, my love. Now, my friends want to tell you something. Will you listen to them? You don’t have to if you don’t want to but it might make you happy”

“Kitty happy?” Katsuki looked over at the group suspiciously. He didn’t want to be laughed at again.

“Yeah baby boy” Tenya smiled reassuringly and Katsuki smiled back bouncing a little in Tenya’s lap. Jirou was the first to speak.

“Baku-erm Katsuki, we are very sorry we laughed at you and thought you were hit with a quirk. You’re, um, daddy, explained what was going on and we understand it a little better. We want you to feel comfortable around us as your friends” she finished with a smile. Katsuki’s smile turned into a grin and he twisted and turned in Tenya’s lap.

“What do you say, my dear? Wanna be friends with them?”

“Kitty has f-friends” Katsuki looked at the group in awe as if it was the greatest thing in the world and to him, it was.

“Yeah, honey, we’re your friends” Ochako agreed, taking Katsuki’s hands in hers. Katsuki jumped from Tenya’s lap and into Ochako’s. She giggled and hugged him back, not caring that he was significantly bigger than her.

“I love you Miss Ocha-Chan!” Katsuki said into her neck. Ochako squealed at the adorable boy in her lap and held him tighter. She made eye contact with Tenya who was smiling wider than she’d ever seen him smile and her smile grew wider.

“Katsuki, sweetheart, do you wanna stay here or come up to our room?” Tenya asked when Katsuki clambered back into his lap.

“Uhm, can Kitty play with his new friends here, please?” Katsuki asked and Tenya smiled and nodded.

“’ Course you can, sweet boy” Tenya kissed Katsuki’s forehead, smirking when he squirmed in his lap from the nickname. He let go of Katsuki and watched as he sat down with his classmates. Tenya got up to grab some things for Katsuki to play with but Momo beat him to it.

Well kinda.

He watched, dumbstruck as Momo pulled, colouring books, pencils and crayons and assorted action figures. Jirou fished snacks out of her bag and gave them to Momo. Katsuki opened a colouring book and a pack of crayons and started colouring. Tenya quirked an eyebrow at him.

“Manners, Katsuki”

“Thank you, Miss Momo” Katsuki said with a large smile. Momo looked surprised but patted his head none the less.

“You’re welcome, sweetie,” she said.

The rest of the afternoon was peaceful. Katsuki was over the moon, hanging out and playing with his new friends. Sato baked him cookies and Kouda let him play with his bunny.

Though, he couldn’t help but feel sad that someone was missing.

~^~

It wasn’t until a few days later that Katsuki knew what was wrong.

Kirishima was avoiding him.

Katsuki tried to give him some space but it hurt too much. He constantly asked if he wanted to hang out and work out together, but was shut down every time.

“I can’t, I’ve got homework to do” “Mina and I are going to the mall, sorry man” “I’ve already worked out but thanks for the offer dude!”

It hurt to know that his best friend was avoiding him and it hurt, even more, to know that it was his fault.

Katsuki tried to see the situation from Kirishima’s point of view. Kirishima’s best friend kept something from him that was very important to him, came out about it in front of everyone, not only that he kept something from him, it was something so weird and bizarre so Katsuki understood why Kirishima wasn’t talking to him, but it still upset him. He wanted to cry.

He couldn’t just confront him, that would be too straight forward and so unmanly. Ugh, he can’t believe he used that dumbass phrase. Maybe he missed Kirishima more than he realised. Fuck he hated feeling like this.

Just as he was in the root of his self-deprecating line of thinking, Mina walked up to him.

“Oh honey, tell Mama Mina what’s wrong,” Mina said, sitting next to him.

“Ugh don’t ever call yourself that again, it's gross. Also, how the fuck did you know something was wrong?”

“You haven’t insulted Denki in 10 minutes”

“Fair enough”

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing”

“I’ll tell Iida” Mina threatened teasingly.

Katsuki narrowed his eyes. “You wouldn’t”

“Bet bitch”

“Fine! Fine! But I don’t wanna… I don’t know cause fuckin’ petty ass drama in the group so just don’t open your big ass fuckin mouth to anyone, got it?” Katsuki growled, suddenly interested in the hem of his shirt.

“My lips are sealed. Now gimme that goss, gurl!” Mina joked and Katsuki suddenly regretted ever speaking to her. God, she was a huge fucking thorn in his ass. He clicked his tongue, wondering if Deku was available. Sighing, he opened his mouth to speak.

“Eijirou’s ignoring me and its pissing me off. The fucking coward doesn't even dare to tell me why” Katsuki stated, running a hand through his blond hair. He snuck a look at Mina’s face, the pink girl looked particularly guilty. Katsuki raised an eyebrow at her, coaxing her to speak her thoughts but she stayed silent.

“Pinky…” Katsuki questioned. Did she know why Kirishima was avoiding him? If she did why was she hiding it? He’s never felt this…feeling before. He hates it.

“Honey… it isn’t my place to say but you need to speak to him about it. I promise I spoke to him firmly about this and I’m on your side 100%” Mina admitted. She had that fucking look in her eyes that he hated. He felt like she was trying to protect him. Pity him. He felt weak in her presence, small even. Even then he didn’t even get a decent explanation.

“God- just fucking tell me. Stop trying to protect me”

“He thinks you’re weird for your age regression” Mina confessed, slapping a hand over her mouth, eyes wide and apologetic.

It was like a slap in the face. He swore he stopped breathing for a moment. Eijirou thought he was weird? The same Eijirou that said it was okay to tell each other anything and he wasn’t gonna judge him for anything. It didn’t make any sense. Katsuki wasn’t even sure the redhaired ball of sunshine had a judgmental bone in his body. Sure, his coping mechanism was a little…peculiar, but it made him happy to not have to keep it all bundled up inside him. Being little made him feel good and it fucking hurt to know that his best fucking friend went as far as to avoid talking to him because of it.

The familiar feeling of losing the grip of his headspace filled his brain. His finger rapidly tapped Mina’s arm to get her attention.

“Can you go get Da-Ten?” Katsuki asked, bring a pillow to his chest and squeezing it. He could feel himself slipping, fast.

“Oh my god, are you okay?! Do you want me to get you a snack, some w- “?

“Now Mina!” Katsuki demanded, leaving no room for the pink girl to ask any more questions.

Fuzziness filled his brain as he lost hold of his headspace, fully regressing.

A few moments later, Mina and Tenya skidded into the common area, brows furrowed in confusion. Tenya had a small box of toys in his arms and Mina had Katsuki’s favourite blanket in hers.

“Hey baby, Mina told me you weren’t feeling very good. Do you want to tell Daddy what’s wrong?” Tenya asked, his voice smooth like honey. He placed the box of toys on the ground by Katsuki’s feet and sat down next to his boyfriend, pulling him into his lap and rocking him back and forth comfortingly.

Katsuki sniffled a few times. “Kiri made Kitty sad” a few tears slipped out of the blonde’s eyes. Tenya’s heart squeezed at the crushed look on his baby’s face.
“How’d he do that, kitten? Did he say something to you?” Tenya queried, kissing Katsuki’s forehead.

“N-no. H-he doesn’t w-wanna be f-f-f-friends with m-m-me anymore. He thinks Kitty is w-w-w-weird” Katsuki stammered, hiding his face in Tenya’s chest, letting out tired sobs. Mina wrapped the blanket around Katsuki’s trembling form, placing a small, hesitant kiss on his hair.

“Awe, Princess. I’m so sorry he said that to you, but I need you to listen to Daddy now, okay?” at the small nod he received, he continued. “You are not weird. No matter what anyone else says, you are not weird. What we do makes you happy, baby, and there are some people like Kirishima who think it’s weird and that’s okay, but I need you to know that doing things that make you happy is not weird, okay?” Tenya rambled, rubbing his hands up and down Katsuki’s back.

“Okay, Daddy.” Katsuki smiled sweetly up at Tenya, letting the new information seep into his mind. A small yawn escaped Katsuki’s mouth and he nuzzled his face into Tenya’s hard chest. “Tired, Daddy. Nap here” Katsuki mumbled.

“Sleep, sweetheart. We’ll talk more when you awake” Tenya said, placing a soft kiss on Katsuki’s forehead.

He’s gonna kill Kirishima.

Chapter Text

Tenya was going to fucking murder Kirishima.

Sure, the disgusting remarks behind Katsuki’s back were one thing but walking out of a room as soon as Katsuki walks in, not one not two but three times? That’s at least worthy enough for justifiable homicide.

Tenya watched it happen all three times and each time he genuinely thought he was going to rip all of those stupid pointy teeth out of his face.

God, he sounded like Katsuki.

Katsuki knew but acted like he didn’t care. Tenya called bullshit. He knew those bathroom breaks weren’t just for, erm, going, but were to cry in the stall where no one could hear him. He could tell it was eating away at him and it was only a matter of time before he snapped. Tenya could see the pain in Katsuki’s eyes every time he said it didn’t bother him or that he didn’t care, he could hear the strain in his words whenever he tried to talk about it. It was killing him. It was killing them.

~^~

Katsuki had enough. He’d had e-fucking-nough.

He couldn’t deal with the silences, the side glances in class when Kirishima thinks he isn’t looking, the fucking whispers in the halls because of fucking course it’s all people can talk about. It’s almost as if they aren’t in school to be fucking heroes. He’s so fucking sick of it and he can tell his class is too, god knows Aizawa shows it every class.

The last goddamn straw was when Kirishima, his best fucking friend, his ride or die, his fucking family, told that Tetsutetsu bastard about what he saw that day. When it got back to Katsuki, he was bloodthirsty. Not to mention his classmates, they all looked ready to throw away their entire hero careers for him and it would’ve been heart-warming if he wasn’t on the verge of committing first-degree murder.

He walked into class, his shoulders squared and his jaw clenched. A faux display of confidence, trying to hide how scared he actually was. All the heads in the class snapped up to where he was standing in the doorway. Fortunately for him, Aizawa was late to class, he probably fell asleep in the teachers’ lounge again. As he did every morning, he ignored his classmates and made a beeline for Tenya’s desk, pecking his lips lightly and sitting down at his own desk.

The class was slowly becoming livelier, getting louder by the second and it almost felt as if nothing was wrong. Katsuki could finally breathe although the tension was still there, the familiarity of his friends talking over each other dampened it slightly.

A tap on his shoulder made him turn around.

“Are you okay, Kacchan? You don’t have to speak to him today if you don’t want to” Izuku said, an understanding smile on his face. Katsuki breathed a harsh breath through his nose, his anger rising by the second.

“I fuckin’ need to, Deku. He’s just gonna keep ignoring me until I say something because he’s a goddamn coward!” Katsuki huffed, his voice louder than he wanted or needed to.

Fuck.

Every single one of his classmates went silent. Scared wasn’t the exact word Katsuki himself would describe the feeling in his chest at that very moment, but it was very, very close to it. He had to force himself to keep his eyes on Izuku and not let them wander to a certain redhead, finding the urge almost to be impossible. The sheer concern and fear wafting from his boyfriend almost made him whimper like a wounded animal. He knew he had fucked up and he wanted- no – needed the ground to swallow him whole because he dreaded the inevitable talk with Kirishima that is going to end up being more of a fight because they are both hot-headed, stubborn, almost adults that don’t know when to stop.

Fuck me.

Heart beating almost violently in his chest, he saw a very angry Kirishima get out of his seat and walk over to him. He audibly gulped when he heard the screeching of the chair legs on the linoleum floor. Tenya had gotten up. Katsuki saw Izuku get up as well, on the verge of activating his quirk and even though Kirishima had a good 5 inches on him, Izuku looked way more intimidating.

“A coward huh? Says the guy who can’t even look at me. Thought you liked a fight?” Kirishima spat and Katsuki saw red. He stood up, chest to chest with the redhead. Katsuki felt something off in his gut. This isn’t Kirishima?

“You’re the one who’s ignored me for a week, told someone who didn’t need to know-- who I didn’t want to know about that day, and then on top of all that, talked shit about me behind my back like we’re twelve. Fuck you!” Katsuki growled, his hands balled into fists by his side.

“It’s not my fault you’re into weird-ass paedophilic BDSM with Iida” Kirishima retorted, his skin hardening.

“God- it fuckin-- it isn’t sexual! Why do you all think that? Fuckin perverts” Katsuki argued, his anxiety reaching dangerous levels. The wetness of his hands was almost uncomfortable. He tried wiping them on his slacks to rid them of their moisture, but it just made them equally as wet.

“You literally call Iida ‘Daddy’ how is it not sexual? You know what I don’t care. Do what you want, just don’t rope my friends into your weird fantasies.” Kirishima retorted, jabbing his finger in their classmates’ direction as if he made a point. None of them looked like they agreed though. That feeling in his gut got stronger. Something was wrong with Kirishima. A quirk maybe? A change of heart? Something worse? He didn’t know but he wasn’t going to stay to find out.

“Actually Kirishima, we willingly want to care for Katsuki-Kun. You’re the only one with a problem with it” Uraraka added, her face red with anger. Numerous ‘yeahs’ were voiced, agreeing with her. Katsuki felt a warmth spread through his chest.

Kirishima mumbled something Katsuki didn’t hear but Izuku sure as fuck did. A loud smack echoed through the quiet classroom. Izuku must’ve used his quirk because Kirishima fell to the ground with the force of the blow. Confused and conflicted, Katsuki weighed his options. On one hand, he wanted to know what Kirishima said to get slapped, but on the other, he knew it was going to be hurtful and probably would make him more anxious. He sighed and decided on the former.

“What did he say, Deku?” Katsuki asked quietly. His voice could’ve been mistaken for a whisper it was so quiet. He watched closely as Izuku weighed the outcomes in his head. Katsuki was about to move on but Izuku opened his mouth to speak.

“He said he understands why your mother hit you as a kid” Izuku finally answered. Katsuki felt the air being knocked out of his chest. His throat felt as though it had closed up. Panic spread through his entire body, his heart rate sped up and his palms released tiny sparks. This wasn’t Kirishima. He needed to get out now.

A sudden hand on his wrist made him remember that Tenya was in fact in the room with him and did indeed hear the whole thing. His knees buckled and he fell to the ground, Tenya wasn’t fast enough to catch him. Cotton filled his brain and he let out a loud whimper -- as if he was a wounded animal -- alerting Tenya.

“Shh, shh baby I’ll get you out. Can you stand?” Katsuki shook his head even though that was hard. Tenya pressed a kiss to Katsuki’s smooth forehead and picked him up bridal style. His eyes started to flutter shut from the panic exhaustion. He rested his head on Tenya’s shoulder and fell asleep.

~^~

Tenya couldn’t fall asleep with Katsuki no matter how much he wanted to skip class and take care of his kitty, he needed to have a…word with Kirishima. He felt terrible for not defending Katsuki back in the classroom, but Katsuki would hate that someone thought he wasn’t strong enough to fight his own battles. As much as he wanted to scream for the top of UA that Katsuki was perfect, he wasn’t. sure, he was a hell of a lot better than their first year, almost a completely different person, but he still had his anger and pride to contain. Tenya was the one who told him to go to therapy, right after he told him about his age regression, even going as far as to offer to pay for it. Katsuki declined the offer at first, claiming he was too good for therapy and that he was handling everything just fine, but in reality, only using age regression as a coping mechanism alone, was making things worse for him, he needed another outlet. Katsuki admitted he needed professional help was after he passed out from a panic attack and had to spend 2 days in Recovery Girl’s office. She forcefully made Aizawa make the appointments free since she hadn’t seen a case of PTSD this bad from a 16-year-old (that wasn't from heroing) in all her years of being at that school. Aizawa was surprisingly easy to persuade regarding this issue, he even paid for all of his and Izuku’s medication.

Tenya used his quirk and ran back towards the classroom where everyone was having a screaming match, no Aizawa in sight. He made a beeline for the culprit in the centre of what looked to be a human fighting ring and picked the redhead up by the collar. He pushed him up against the wall with so much force that it made a Kirishima sized hole. The rage he felt bubble up from that morning, blew up.

“If you ever even look at Katsuki again, I will kill you! Do you hear me, I will fucking kill you!” Tenya screamed in Kirishima’s face, tightening his hold on the lapels of his blazer. Kirishima had the gall to look remorseful, confused even. Tenya reared his fist back and punched him square in the nose, breaking it. His fist hurt but he wasn’t going to show it. He’d never punched anyone that wasn’t a villain but with what Kirishima said before, he was as good as one.

“Okay man, fuck! Just get off me! I think you broke my whole face, bro!” Kirishima blurted, his speech thick from all the blood. Tenya let go of him, letting his fall to the ground. He clenched his hand a couple of times to see if he broke that too but it was fine.

“Iida! What is the meaning of this!” Just to his luck, Aizawa came back only when he was in the wrong. Tenya froze but turned around none the less and was met with a very tired and angry Aizawa. “Well? Get your ass to the principal’s office or I will drag you there myself!”

Just before Tenya was going to open his mouth to speak, Jirou spoke up. “With all due respect sir, Kirishima was being so cruel—bullying Bakugou for no reason. Iida was just defending him.” Many classmates made noises of agreement. Aizawa turned to Tenya.

“And you couldn’t defend him with your words why?”

“In my defence, you’d probably want to punch him too after you heard what he said” Tenya retorted.

“What did he say exactly that made you break his nose?” Aizawa asked, his voice had a little edge to it, as if he was going to defend Katsuki.

“He implied that he deserved to be abused by his mother” Tenya supplied when no one else spoke up. Aizawa looked almost flabbergasted. Tenya watched in amusement as Aizawa pulled his sleeping bag over his head.

“You’re free to go check on Bakugou, and, if need be, you are excused from morning classes. Kirishima go to Recovery Girl then to Nezu” Aizawa ordered, hopping to behind his desk.

Tenya walked out of the room, Kirishima’s blood on his knuckles. He didn’t want to sound like a nerd but breaking several rules and possible laws was exhilarating, he felt like no one could touch him. Is this what Katsuki felt like whenever he used to beat someone up?

He walked back to his and Katsuki’s dorm fully expecting to find Katsuki in his All Might themed footie pyjamas, holding one of his many stuffed animals, softly snoring into Tenya’s pillow but instead of sleeping away his anxiety, he was on the phone, crying. Tenya’s first instinct was to comfort his lover but as he looked closer, he saw that the tears weren’t from sadness but joy. It was a good look on Katsuki, joy. Tenya hoped to see it more often. Katsuki finally looked up from his lap, a huge smile on his face. Tenya loved that smile. The way his eyes would crinkle and his nose scrunched up. The way his tongue slipped out passed his teeth when he giggled. Gosh, Tenya could watch it all day.

“I’m sorry, I have to go, he’s back,” Katsuki said to the person on the phone, smiling impossibly wider, showing off his pearly whites.

“Okay, okay, you too, okay bye.” Katsuki hung up, moving over on the bed for Tenya to sit.

“Who was that? I don’t think I’ve seen you smile like that in months.” Tenya teased lightly.

“My dad”
