Summary
After beholding disconcerting visions about his demise for a few centuries, Horde Prime has been gathering archaic relics of power across the universe for his protection. Now, he sends his second-in-command, a specially engineered clone, on a quest to find an ancient magic-repelling sword, the existence of which has merely been hinted at by a few obscure intergalactic legends.
Unbeknownst to him, this quest will become a journey of secret self-discovery for the young clone, much later known as Hordak. Furthermore, the sword may not exactly be what the legend fragments claim...
Can be read as an independent story, or as a prequel/companion to the Beast Within. Partially illustrated.
