Chapter Text
So… After the “Adult Overnight Gathering” that was cut short, the next few days were kind of… Strange. Well, at least to me it was. How do I properly put this all together in my head??
So I tried messaging Sans and Papyrus in the morning to just to be sure if they were really okay, but got no response. And I would have gone to their place, but I don’t know their address since Papyrus had just teleported me to his house that one time.
I went back to school per usual, but didn’t see Sans with his usual entourage, nor did I see Papyrus in any of the classes we shared. Very concerning. And though this probably wasn’t any of my business and I should take advantage of this time finally being skeleton-free, my dumbass just has to know how those two are doing. So I asked one of the professors of the class I have with Papyrus to see if he had any info as to why he didn’t show up for class. The professor just said that Papyrus has called in sick and won’t be able to physically attend classes. Thankfully, some college courses are hybrid, so you could participate physically or online.
Honestly, and I hope this doesn’t make me racist? Or, uh, spiciest? But I didn’t know monsters could get sick… Well, I really hope that those two bone heads get better soon…
…It’s been about a fucking WEEK. A whole, fucking WEEK.
…I lied, it’s been about 4 days, but that still should count for being practically a damn week, shouldn’t it?!
“These damn boneheads… You haven’t responded to any of my texts. What the hell…? They better not be in any trouble…” Julia was pacing back and forth in her bedroom before just plopping down onto her bed. “Maybe I should try giving one of them a call? I’ll call Sans first. Maybe he’ll actually answer if it’s a phone call.”
…
…
…
“…Hello?”
Hooooly shit, that voice is so deep, I had to check to see if my phone was still on vibrate…
“He-hello, I was wondering if Sans is available? I’m… His friend, and wanted to talk to him if he’s available.”
“Human?” There were sounds of some coughing and shuffling before the person spoke again, “S-Sorry, it’s me! It’s Sans! …Why are you calling me?”
“Why am I—ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?!” Julia snaps at him.
“Language!”
“Don’t you ‘language’ me, mister! I have been texting you and you bonehead brother for days now with no response! I got worried! The only thing the professors from the classes I have with Papyrus said is that you two were sick! I didn’t know that monsters even could get sick!”
“OH! U-UM… WELL, YOU SEE… It is a… Seasonal sickness that happens to monsters every so often.”
A seasonal sickness?? Like flu season? Or allergies??
“Did… Are you guys okay? Do you need anything or is there anything I can do to help…?” Julia had a questionable look on her face as she hears a growl from the phone. “…Sans? Did… Did you just growl?”
“Oh! No no no, I was simply clearing my throat! R… Rest assured that my brother and I are doing fine and shall return as soon as our seasonal sickness clears up!” Blue gave his signature laugh, though it did sound… forced.
Something isn’t right… Seems kinda sus, not gonna lie…
“Sans… are you actually doing okay? You’re not lying to make me not worry about you guys, are you?”
There was a moment of silence, except for the rather loud breathing from Sans end. It almost sounds like… Panting?
“…Julia,” a keening whine could be heard, “it would not be wise to visit us while Papyrus and I are… Not well. I do apologize for making you worry so much.”
“It’s alright and I understand, but… Can I at least have your home address just in case there is ever an emergency? And maybe I could make you some soup or send you guys a get well care package or something?”
There was a very long moment of silence on the phone.
“…Sans, are you still—”
“Okay, just… Leave it at the door step? I can text you our address. But, human… Whatever you do, please do not try to come inside our home. I mean it—just… don’t. Not until we’re, um… Feeling better at least.”
“Oooookay…? I mean, you don’t have to talk to me about boundaries—I fully respect though. You brother could use several refresher courses on that.” Julia grumbles. That pervy skeleton…
—
Sans didn’t know how much longer he could continue the call. He gave the human a brief goodbye before ending the call and letting the phone drop from his hand and fall to the ground with a clatter.
His intuition was right and it was a good thing he and Papyrus left last night—it looks like their rut was starting and was starting early. And THAT was the most confusing part! He could understand it starting a few days early or shifting towards a few days later, but this took a leap of jumping ahead by a few weeks! On top of that, it looks like Papyrus was hit with it badly. It nearly shattered his soul to hear his poor baby brother a whining mess, and having to be locked inside their domicile, but catching Papyrus making several attempts to escape, Sans had no choice but to use magic to make sure Papyrus stayed put until the rut was over.
…What he wouldn’t give to sink his claws into the soft, plump fat of a willing human to breed right n—NO! BAD!
“C’mon, Sans… You are better than to give into your baser instincts.” Sans berated himself.
My bones feel so uncomfortable right now. I can just hear how loud my magic is coursing throughout my body… It feels so hot… Training or exercising to work off the excess magic isn’t working—not anymore at least… It seems like it’s getting harder each time…
Sans groans and sits up in his bed, his thoughts becoming all muddled. Too loud. His magic was too loud.
There was a knock at the door.
“Papyrus, what is it?”
Papyrus opened the door and… Words could not properly described what a wreak the tall skeleton was. Hoodie and tank top long forgotten and loose boxers all disheveled with… questionable stains.
“…bro, i don’t know how much longer i can do this. this is torture!”
“I know, Paps, but you know we can’t leave in the state we’re in!” Sans sighed, “How about this? Though it is a rather risky move, I shall call in a favor to see if we can at least be provided proper rut suppressants.”
Papyrus immediately straightens up, looking rather nervous.
“y’know, maybe i can just… d-don’t invite her over, sans.”
“I am not dumb enough to let our very fertile new friend inside the house! N-no matter how tempting she may be with those… Those wide child bearing hips and…” Sans bones started rattling at the thought.
“see bro? ya can’t even think straight—this is a bad idea.”
“No, no, I thought of a way this could work—no issues! While I was conversing with her over the phone, I did say that if she wanted to, she could provide us soup so long as she simply drops it off at our doorstep and to not come inside. I can just add in a text message that along with the soup, if she could stop by the local monster grocery store and supply us with some medicine for monsters with ‘seasonal sickness’ there should be no issues whatsoever!”
“i dunno bro, seems kinda risky… you sure about this? if we’re asking her to grab that, she’ll find out, wouldn’t she?”
“I assure you that though the human is smart, she still seems ignorant to certain aspects of monsterkind. The college deems that monsters who go through heats and ruts have excused absences under the guise of seasonal sickness. As far as she knows, that was all this is, so when she heads to the store and towards the pharmaceutical section, she’ll ask a worker where to locate products for seasonal sickness for monsters, the worker will get the message and help her and we’ll be home free! Mweh-heh-heh!” Blue laughed triumphantly. His brilliance… It surprises even himself sometimes! He’s so smart.
Papyrus had his doubts, thinking this was still a bad idea, but… They had no choice at this point… In his overheated skull, all he could think about was the human hopefully coming inside so he could come inside her…
…This rut really sucks…
—
“Okay… Got the veggies, stock and meat…” Julia looked at her phone, hand basket in arm as she leaves the produce section of the grocery store.
Sans texted me saying that if I was gonna drop off a care package, to pick up some medicine for him and Paps… And to ask the Pharmacist. Well, asking them would make things easier since I don’t know diddily-shit about monster medicine except Monster Candy. Looks like the Pharmacist is free right now—perfect!
Julia walks over to the booth, waving the Pharmacist over. “Excuse me, could I get your help? My friends are monsters and… I really don’t know a lot about monster medicine and I just wanna help them out.”
“Sure, dear. What’s going on with them?”
“Ah, it’s a seasonal sickness that they both have.”
The pharmacist pauses for a moment, as if trying to replay what Julia said before turning their head to snort.
“Ahh, I see. I’ll show you where we keep our medicine for, um… Seasonal sickness. I recommend our NTT brand. Top of the line brand and for a reasonable price, of course.”
Julia grabs two boxes of “NTT brand Heat/Rut Suppressant,” tilting her head in confusion.
“Heat and rut suppressant? Is this like IcyHot or something for monsters?” Julia looks at the boxes, giving them a shake.
“…Sure. Let’s go with that. Do you need anything else today?” The Pharmacist chuckles, looking amused for some reason.
“Ah, no, this should be it. Thank you so much!” Julia puts the two boxes in her basket and makes her way towards self-check-out.

i’m such a freak
i’m such a horrible person
i’m such a creep
…i can’t get enough of it. i can’t enough of her scent. it’s so hot… my bones are fuckin’ on fire. more. more. more…!
just my hand isn’t enough. pillow is soft, but not like her. it’s not enough. it hurts so bad—please, just lemme… lemme just…
*Ring! Ring…!
Papyrus quickly sits up, and scrambles for his phone. Who could be calling him right now? He thought he had his phone on Do Not Dis—
“Papyrus?”
If there was a God, he was utterly cruel towards Papyrus today…
“Hey, you there…? If you can’t speak, we can text if that’s easier—”
“no! n-no, uh… what’s up, human?” Papyrus tried keeping his breathing in check. He didn’t want to scare her off.
“Dunno if Sans has already talked to you, but I’ll be dropping off a care package for you guys so you can feel better.” Julia explained.
i’d feel better with those plump lips wrapped around my fat c—
“Papyrus? Are you paying attention?”
“ah, uh, yeah!” stars, your voice sounds so nice… keep saying my name.
“I know Sans said I shouldn’t come inside,” i wanna cum inside you—breed you so bad, “but I’ve been considering just making food for you both so you can have it hot and fresh.”
why th’ fuck did we leave the sleepover so early? she was sleeping—knocked out because of that medicine. It woulda been so easy to just spread those thick thighs and just—
“PAPYRUS! Are you seriously that outta it?! I’m getting really concerned… That’s it. I’m coming over there to take care of you boneheads.”
“w-what? wait, no, no, sans said—”
*CLICK! Brr… Brr…
shit.
shit!
Papyrus scrambles out of his room, nearly tripping over himself as makes it to Sans’ bedroom door and knocking frantically.
“sans! sans! we got a situation! uh, jules called to check in on us. and she’s got the stuff we need, but… she’s also planning on visiting to take care of us, too. nyeh heh… heh…”
There was a long moment of silence before the door slowly creaked open and only the piercing glowing white slits of eyelights were visible.
“… W H A T.”
The skeleton bros may very well in fact, be boned.
