Gen had a day off and you thought it would be great to just chill at home with him. Maybe watching some movies or play random games, but Gen had an other idea.

“How about we go take a walk?”, Gen asked while walking up to you.

“Huh? I thought we would just chill at home today.”, you said, looking confused at your partner.

“We can even go to that one place you talked about afterwards.”, Gen said with a smirk on his face. He just knew how to get you out of the house.

“Okay, let’s go.”, you replied while walking to the front door.

Truth be told, Gen just didn’t wanted to walk around. He had a specific place in mind. A place that was important for the both of you.

“I can’t wait to finally show you what they have there.”, you said, excited to show Gen that one place you wanted to show him for a while now.

“I can’t wait, but before we go there I need to take you somewhere else.”, Gen said while intertwining his fingers with yours.

“Lead the way then.”, you replied.

And with that, Gen took you to the place where you two had your first date.

“What are we doing here?”, you asked confused.

“You’ll see.”, Gen said with a soft smile on his face. 

After Gen mentally prepared himself for what’s about to happen, he gave your hand a light squeeze.

“Ever since the day we met, I’ve felt a sense of happiness in my life like never before.” Gen said while taking the ring out of his pocket “So, will you marry me and make me the happiest man ever?”

And without even hesitating, you pulled Gen into a tight hug while nodding. 

“I love you so much.”, Gen said while sliding the ring on your finger.

“I love you more.”, you responded to which Gen pulled you into a kiss.
