Hello there!

I am currently posting this from Poland - from the legendary DARK CONTINENT itself!

My writing brain has been… non-existent, for a little while now. And it probably won’t be back until I get home and recover from this escapade, but I *can* draw, so I thought I’d whip something up to keep my mind from imploding.

(Also, this is the second time Milly just has her whole chest hanging out. I don’t know why this happens and I swear it’s entirely incidental, I just wanted NR to be cute and comfy in the bath… but maybe Carmilla herself compels me when it’s Millaarc time.)

Ignoble Redemption Episode 1

Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed what I’ve cooked up for the half-year anniversary of Noble Redemption! Frankly, I can’t believe it’s been six whole months since I uploaded my very first fic. I like to think I’ve come a long way.

The idea for this scenario has been in my head for quite some time now, but at some point I realised I could only truly do it justice through an animation — and so animate I did. It was made entirely on my iPad Mini, animated with ToonSquid and edited with Premiere Rush.

I’ve decided to name this series ‘Ignoble Redemption’. The OVAs have a title which is a play on the anime’s name, my favourite translation of which is “The Non-Songs of the Valkyries”. Will this ‘series’ ever get more than one episode? Honestly, I have absolutely no clue. The process was quite exhausting I must admit, so I will probably be taking another break. But I think it was worth the effort.

Notes:

So in the spirit of the Symphogear OVAs, I wanted to include some little mini side scenarios! I have a lot of sketches involving these characters, and I thought it would be a good idea to clean them up and keep them here with the main stories in one place.

Now that Noble Redemption stands at a frankly, rather substantial 12 parts, I felt it was a good time to do something like this. My primary mission was to get Noble Red reunited again, and have Elsnein get together formally, and now that I’ve done that I need to sort of reset my brain in regard to what the hell is even going to happen with this series in the future, and I think this is a good way for me to do that.

I suspect I will periodically updating this with new chapters from time to time. I hope you will look forward to them!
