There was a battle, Hazel knew that. She couldn't come, Nico had begged her not to come and seeing her brother that way made her -reluctantly- agree. Everyone came back alive, albeit injured.. But, where was Nico?
“Where's my brother?” She'd asked, getting a heavy silence.

I saw a post on Pinterest that in a battle Hazel died and Nico asked "where's my sister" to Percy again like in the Titan's curse, so I switched things up a bit. Why not give Percy PTSD and Hazel some more trauma on the pile?
