Martin stared up at the canvas above him, watching the shadows cast by his guttering candle dance across the fabric. How many nights had he lain awake like this, wondering if he'd ever see the familiar skies of Tamriel again? How many times had he cursed the name of Lorkhan, the trickster god whose mirror had cast him into this strange world? And his ‘father’ Akatosh, for simply watching him vanish without a trace?
This fic is inspired by Matman0187's most delightful A Dragon in The Inquisition. My hope is that you enjoy this one as well!
