   Summary

   Chapter 1: Every few months, Beata makes the 400 km trip from Reestkii to Niima Station to pick up any children orphaned or stranded with the scavengers. Every few months, one child refuses to leave.
   Chapter 2: If there is a graveyard, there must, by definition, be ghosts. Sometimes, when the moon is dark and wind is still, they even talk, not that anyone can understand them.
