Chapter Text
The fire still burns bright and hot
But it used to be brighter
Take that last shot
Before the fire needs a lighter
The lighter had set fire to Earth’s nature
And when the lighter betrayed the flame
The fire was forced to mature
Although it was innocent, it became the blame
But now there’s no lighter to restart the fire
The flame would slowly die out
No longer able to see or admire
The flame without the lighter, has no way to flicker about
So the fire has to find a new source
Now that the lighter is out of oil
Find its own course
Without the lighter which is beneath the soil
Now the flame has to be a pillar
The flame that was meant to be free
In a suit, has to be the stiff collar
As the sanity in the Earth begins to flee
Maybe the lighter was forced
To set up the fire, time and time again
The elements that were scorched
Even when the light has died, they still are in pain
Well in the present, darkness shrouds
The entirety of the earth
There is no mercy, even in the clouds
The Earth's elements have never felt this loss called death
But the fire still tries to ignite
Even when its only remnants of smoke
The carbon monoxide feels like a bite
But no matter how much the elements break, the dead will never wake
