Summary
Growing up, I learned that there were two types of monsters in the world.
The first type are creatures. They’re the things that will hunt you down in the woods at night, chasing you until you can’t run anymore and your feet trip up under you, standing on your back to rip your throat out without a second thought. That’s the type my dad would take care of.
The second type are men. They’re the people who will use you in whatever way they want then will dump your body in a back alley, throwing a fistful of bills at your half conscious form as if that would do anything to erase what they did to you. That’s the type of monster my brother would deal with.
