Summary
After a storm leaves a litter of kittens stranded and soaked, Bucky finds himself drawn to the fragile lives he can’t help but protect. With the box of sodden fur creatures cradled in his arms, he’s reminded of a tenderness he thought lost, his instincts to nurture driving him to care for the tiny creatures. Zemo, watching from the sidelines, feels only relief, as he has held growing concern over Bucky for some time. As the kittens grow, so too does their bond, and Zemo realises that the ferocious monsters may be the very thing Bucky needs most. One particular ferocious monster has gripped Bucky's thawing heart, as the daring creature teaches Bucky what it means to live through adversity.
