“Hen? Is everything okay?” Athena sounded understandably worried, it was rare Hen called her out of the blue whilst on shift.
“A-Athena, you need to get down to Prespytarian, now.” Hen’s voice was weak and shaky, the adrenalin leaving her, only fear and exhaustion remaining.
There was a pause on the other end, one too long to be considered normal, but eventually Athena spoke “Which one?”
“It’s Buck.” Hen sniffled, trying to stay strong, “Athena, s-she was struck by lightning.”
Or:
Buck's lightning coma lasts far longer than it did in canon and the consequences are far worse.
