“Alright” Demetri said “investigation time” rubbing his hands together like an evil genius, he opened his laptop and started typing
"What..?" Eli started
"I'm trying to find their location, now or the last time they used their phones. Maybe this will lead us to where they are and it will all be a huge misunderstanding and everything will be okay and I'm having a nervous breakdown because what the hell?" Demetri panted "and stop looking at me its making me tremendously nervous and-"
"Okay! Alright" Miguel rubbed his face with his hand, tugging at the roots of his hair at the end "we will go to their room to try and see if there is something the" he pointed and him and Sam
Robby nodded "and Tory and I will go check the cameras, maybe there is something there." Like he just remembered Lauren was, in fact, there he added "Laur, you got the kids right?"
"What? No! I want to help find my parents! Why won't Anthony, Kenny and Devon do it? They just stand here –"
"Hey-!" Devon started, standing up with her "debate" face, clearly ready to strike back
"Nope"
"Whoa" Kenny and Anthony stand up with her with their arms up, trying to calm the woman
"It's fine" Tory shook her head, "I'll stay here, I have to call Brandon anyway" she smiled sadly "and it's her mom and dad too so let her help"
"I knew she was my favorite for a reason" Laura mumbled to herself, maybe not quiet enough because there wasn’t even a second of silence before
"Hey!"
"Whoa!"
"What do you mean by that?"
"'Favorite'?! Why is she your favorite?"
"Not nice!"
"Lauren Lawrence!"
"Cool" Tory smiled "you're my favorite here too Tiny"
Robby looked at her confused "I thought I was your favorite" he mumbled, pointing at himself
"Sure you are" she kissed on the lips and went to sit next to Laura and the children "Devon, Payne and LaRusso can go see if they are in their favorite restaurant, maybe it's really just a misunderstanding"
"And the Binary Brothers will stay here to crack some codes"
Lauren wrinkled her nose "Awful name"
"Go!"
"So what are we looking for exactly?" looking at her brother, Lauren watched as Robby shrugged
"Anything that seems out of its place I guess" he theorized "we will know when we see it"
"Cool, that just narrows it to literally everything" waving her arms around she signed "there is no use"
Robby stopped the recording video and sat down "hey, I know it’s a hard time but we're here to help. I promise we will do everything." Signing heavily he pressed play. Watching the screen and seeing their dad kiss her mom before climbing up the stairs, Carmen looking at him lovingly before something distracted her from the corner of her eye, looking almost straight to the camera her eyes turn big as susages and he mouth fell slack
Deciding to run, Carmen yelled for her husband and made her way to the stairs.
Then the screen paused. A heavy ringing coming out of the mashing, making the two of then to cover their ears.
"Got 'em" Robby panted as he looked at the screen in shock "someone or something was in the house and-"
The doorbell rang from the main door, looking at each other he asked "are you waiting for someone?"
"Except Uncle Daniel? No."
"What the hell"
"Laura Lawrence?"
"Yeah?"
"We got some concerning calls about a child left without his legal guardian, and I see that was correct"
"What? No! I'm sixteen and that's my family and-"
"Do they live here?"
"No but-"
"When do your parents come back?"
"Soon-"
"What is going on?" Robby came to the door, pushing it open and stepping in front of his sister
"Are you her legal guardian?"
"No but-"
"We can talk more and the station Laura, please come with us. Your friends can meet you there" the cop stepped forward, trying to catch the girl arm when Robby and Miguel stepped between them
"Wow"
"Whoa! Hey buddy what the hell?!"
"Please don’t make it difficult, you can meet her at the station and we will love to hear from you where her parents have- wait aren’t you Robby? Robby Keene? And Miguel Diaz! Woah! Big fan" the rude officer pointed to his badge with a smile "Stan" but then he took a step forward "Now it all make sense"
"What do you mean?" Robby crossed his arms, his eyebrows creased
"Johnny Lawrence abandoning his child isn’t that surprising isn't it?" he winked at the man like it was a joke "please tell me Tory –Tooth Fairy- Nichols is here too!" the officer almost jumped in place
"Nichols- Keene" Miguel added, nodding to his brother "and you making these faces about my sister in law really doesn’t help your case while you're taking my sister from home"
"Alright, see you at the station then" he grabbed Laura arm this time "don't make me arrest her" he winked with a creepy smile
"Robby? Miguel?" the girl looked back
"Don’t worry, we are right after you" they nodded and signaled to the people still inside the house "we will be right there with you"
Tory came out of the house and stared at the officer while everybody piled for the cars
"Hey!" she yelled "you make her uncomfortable I'll will show you why they called me the tooth fairy" she promised
In the station, Laura sat on the uncomfortable chair, her coat thrown over her like a blanket
Her family entered the place like a storm, Tory going straight to her while her son was in Robby's hands "You alright?"
"Yes"
"Promise?" Tory had her way of reading people, like her eyes could see your thoughts. She always said it was because she had to read the unreadable sometimes- her own husband- so she had to be good and when Laura nodded sincerely, Tory knew she was okay for now.
"Tory, Robby had gone to talk to the officers I'll-"
"No."
"We agreed on the way here-
"I didn’t!"
"Tor-"
"No!"
"What is happening?"
Miguel scratched the back of his neck "We have a way that you can try and figure out what is happening"
"And you can always say no"
Now that was interesting "what is it?"
