"I was wondering...um...never mind."
Lin Huanhuan and Valerie were cooking in the main house.
"Go on what is it?"
Lin Huanhuan mashed up the potatoes more vigorously before sighing and stopping.
"After what happened I think Yun Shuang is feeling like he's not enough and although there's not any eligible males right now to court me.... I thought maybe if he was stronger maybe he wouldn't be so overprotective."
"Ah." Without waiting for Lin Huanhuan to say another thing, Valerie bought the spirit level awakening pill. "Here it's best he take it in your home in the territory before bed. He'll konk out but by morning he should have awakened."
Lin Huanhuan hugged Valerie's side. "Thank you, thank you, thank you."
"Anything for you little sis."
"I've always wondered why you call me little sis. You can't be older than me."
"Before I became what I am now, a Phoenix, on my Earth I was dying at the age of 40. When my system saved me it returned me to my healthiest age as an adult which was 18. So my body might be your same age but my mind isn't."

"You are a strange female." Yun Shuang said with his mouth full of grilled meat. His bicep now sporting his newly awakened 1 star spirit beast.
"Don't talk with your mouth full, nephew." Valerie smirked as the Yun Shuang wrinkled his nose at the address.
After he swallowed, "You make another female's male stronger."
"You both are family, that's what real family does...support each other."
She remembered the family she lost just before her 18th birthday in her past world. How harmonious they'd been, how loving despite all the hardships they'd endured, they never stopped being generous. It was something she always wanted.
It was strange it took her coming to another world for her to finally gain it.
Until the day she almost lost it again.
Lin Huanhuan, Mu Xiang (a female that had taken Huanhuan under her wing), and Valerie were out on the cliff face soaking in the rare bit of sun during the season.
Mu Xiang had just announced her pregnancy, and the other women congratulated her.
It all felt familiar to Valerie and she went back in her memories of the plot. Her eyes widening when she remembered what might happen. Quickly she bought an instant body modification that would give her the ability to have beast form and half Beastkin form. If Lin Huanhuan fell from the cliff she was going to spread her new wings and catch her.
"I'm also pregnant. And yet you aren't are you wild female?" The Blackwater female looked over at Lin Huanhuan with a sneer, "Maybe that's because you are barren."
Lin Huanhuan turned away ignoring the insult and when the female went to grab her shoulder, Valerie strode forward and grabbed her wrist.
"Haven't you caused enough problems already? Do you really want to get put back in prison for assaulting the chief's mate?" After making sure the female's males were behind her she released the wrist pushing the female back into their arms. Turning toward Lin Huanhuan and her friend, "Perhaps it would be best if we go back inside."
With a fierce yell the female rushed forward, "If I can't have Yun Shuang then no one can!"
"Big sis watch out!"
"Huanhuan!"
And they both went over the cliff.
Her wings sprung from her back but still they dropped until Lin Huanhuan's system teleported them far away.
