Summary
I’m not sure when I stopped exploring the marginal space surrounding our estate, but the curiosity that brought me there stalks behind me as I grow. It waits and whispers requests to explore the unseen corners of the earth.

Levi scoffs. “The hell he did—”
“You shouldn’t speak that way.”
Levi tilts his head and raises a brow at my statement.
“It’s in bad faith.” I continued.
“Are you a man of faith, Erwin?” He keeps his voice low, careful not to wake the others.
I drop my hands onto the ceramic wash basin at my torso, gazing at my faint reflection in the rippling water. “When it serves me.”
“Does it?”
“I’m not sure yet.”
