After they both were done with their showers they had nothing else to do for the day. They cleaned the house a bit, made and ate dinner, the usual. Azure had another “meeting” to attend. Once it was almost time to leave he put on his clothes and grabbed his stuff.

Two Time looked down before nodding quietly.. it seemed this entire “cult” thing is more serious than they have ever imagined.
They arrived there quickly. Two Time covered their nose as they smelled the sulfur and iron in the air.
-So this is the place.. you will sit there in the back row, you won’t interact with anyone alright?

They were questioning if they should be there at all..
Two Time sat where he told them to, as Azure went to the other room to prepare everything. He soon came out, wearing his cloak, giving two time one as well.
-Drape it over yourself.. everyone will be wearing one..
Two Time didn’t question it anymore, they just put it over their head and put the hood on.
Not so long after people started arriving for the mass. Azure waited for them at the lectern.
After a dozen or so people arrived he took a look around. He nodded, came to the door and locked it. Azure cleared their throat.
-We have gathered here tonight to once again worship our beloved Spawn.. the one and only true way to live our lives.. ensuring we get another chance at life after we pass away.
Suddenly, everyone gathered spoke in unison:
-All is darkness, all is quiet. What will happen here tonight?
Azure nodded, and pointed at someone at random.
-Dear follower, come forth and begin the ritual. Tonight you shall prepare it all.
They got up eagerly and walked over. Azure handed them two baggies and the sacrificial dagger. They kneeled between the lectern and the audience, pouring the powders before cutting their hand, letting blood drip onto it, while Azure was reading something from the Necrobloxicon.
Two Time did not want to see what was going to happen next. They regretted coming here. While everyone was focused on the ritual they sneaked to the room over, where Azure was preparing for the ritual. They curled up in the corner and waited there. The sounds they heard from there were.. unlike anything they’ve heard before.. chants in a language they didn’t understand, bizarre sounds that seemed out of this realm. They felt safe in that little room though.
After what felt like an eternity it all got quiet finally, they heard people leaving. Once everyone was gone Azure went into the room.
-I expected you not to last long..
-I’m sorry..
-It’s okay baby.. I left this room open just in case.. Now come on, let’s go home.
Two Time nodded and got up. They went over to their boyfriend and hugged them tightly. Azure hugged them back and gently patted their back. He grabbed their hand and led them outside.
The walk back was quiet. Neither of them spoke during the entirety of it. The dim moonlight showed them the way home along the narrow gravel paths.
They walked through the door, taking off their outer clothing. Azure sighed deeply and looked over at their partner. They didn’t seem too scared despite what they saw and heard. They were pretty quiet.. as if they were thinking about something.
-Timey?

And so, they went there. Azure took the rest of his clothes off, only leaving his underwear on, before laying onto their soft bed. Two Time did the same, almost diving into his embrace.
-You remember i’m going to a party tomorrow right?
