Summary
Varric has perhaps bitten off more than he can chew with the Seeker. After losing Hawke at Adamant Fortress, he decides to spin a new tale for Cassandra in the hopes of making an unlikely friend. But can his latest story develop into something more between them, or will his past come back to bite him in the ass?
A winding tale of will they/won't they, spanning across the latter half of events in DA:I. Some non-canon twists occur to keep anyone from getting too comfortable/bored with the general plotline of the game.
