  Summary

  Even though the ride home only took a few minutes, to Philip it felt like an eternity.
  He remembered everything on Soldier Island, and how he saved himself and Vera, then felt irresponsible for letting her get beat up by the man that haunts her worst nightmares. Seeing Vera all beat up like was probably the closest Philip Lombard had come to crying.
