Summary
New students are hardly anything to fuss about. 𝐉𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 arrived from overseas not long ago but it seems that she's already making an impact, even if nobody realises just yet. Sending ripples in her wake, every turn leads her to stumble farther and farther into a centuries old mess. Things, at times, felt as if the past had come to drag her down.
Something is brewing in Arcadia and, for some reason, the small town has more secrets than it does answers. Even people who've lived there for their entire lives don't realise anything's wrong, so how could some kid possibly fall into such a tangled collision of worlds? Then again, adventure favours the unfortunate and there's 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 a price.
Trapped in a web of hazy memories and an ambiguous past, the right path becomes ever unclearer. Choices must be made and lines drawn, with loyalties and wants clashing in the build up to the Eternal Night.

Jim should know better by now.
However, he doesn’t, and it shows through each of his actions — he should know better than to expect the best outcome, and know that life’s lemons hold no juice, that the pith is thick and bitters the rest of it. There is no lemonade to be made, nor can the zest be used either. Truly nothing culinarily good can come from it.
So, instead, Jim makes use of said fateful fruit by pelting his enemies, too bitter and sour himself, and always a bit of Toby's shadow.
After resetting the timeline, Jim does not resume being the Trollhunter. A calculated risk he's taken. Of course, he sets a new timeline in motion with that one choice of not being Merlin's chosen trollhunter. He's made ripples in the past, and events that might not be able to be altered.
What will await them at the end of the world?

I basically didn't like that Jim turned into a human or left Arcadia and was curious about how the people in Arcadia would react to Jim being a troll now.
I also wanted to see more of him adjusting to being a troll and figuring out how to exist as a troll.
This is just me fixing all the things I didn't like about the ending

Even if he survived this, he would be crippled and unable to perform his duty properly... Bular is taunting him. Biting back a whimper of pain, he glares at the Gumm-gum, biting back a retort. Standing properly, Kanjigar took a deep breath. Stepping back off the beam he stood on, falling into the sunlight. Hearing Bular's snarl of anger filled the Trollhunter with vindication, the sun searing him. Turning all his living stone into nothing more than common rock... he feels the world around him fade away, his only regret...? Draal flashes in his mind, young and holding a wooden dagger as he looked up at Kanjigar with eagerness...
Bular watched the Trollhunter's corpse hit the ground bellow and shatter, the stone spraying outwards slightly. The Gumm-gum snarled, glaring down at the defiance of his enemy. Turning, he sulks deeper into the shadows, he'll be back for his prize.
The amulet pulsed, calling out to the next trolls to hold the mantle...
