Akutagawa was never a child. As his days pile up with such intense emotions, hiding away doesn't quite comfort Akutagawa like it used to. He hates being vulnerable, but repressing humanity can't last forever. Especially someone as broken as he.
He thinks he has to deal with this either alone or with aggression. But maybe others can show him that not every night sky is pitch black. Even if it means creating the childhood he never had, even if it means that he’ll feel vulnerable, he's not alone.

Ryunosuke Akutagawa is one of the most popular camboys in Yokohama. He works for Dazai Osamu, a renowned producer and owner of the ADA (Adult Desire Agency), a company that specializes in camming. They host a range of shows and cammers, but the top earner is Akutagawa.Well, one of the top. Akutagawa is second only to Nakahara Chuuya, elusive camboy and current obsession of the ADA's producer, Dazai. Chuuya used to the star of the ADA: his sessions brought in the most viewers and he earned the most tips. The redhead was quite popular amongst the viewers of Yokohama (and beyond). That was, until, he started dating Dazai.
Dazai would never admit it, but he'd been jealous of the attention that Chuuya was getting from other men (and women). He had pulled Chuuya from his regular sessions, instead allowing him to take on a management position and help run the studio.
Chuuya's departure meant that Akutagawa had moved into the ADA's number one spot. Now, he was the most popular, and he would be able to make Dazai proud. Akutagawa would take what he could get.
Akutagawa, the ADA's highest-earning camboy, is suddenly forced to work with someone new.

Summary
During a mishap on a mission, Akutagawa is struck by an ability that turns him into a dragon. As the Port Mafia asks the Agency for help, Atsushi learns only he can understand his now transformed partner in the new Double Black. It thus becomes his duty to help Akutagawa undo the change.
But Atsushi should know by now that in fairy tales, nothing ever truly stays the same.

Dazai barely hears him, a ringing in his ears that he knows has nothing to do with the alarm coming from his phone. It blares with three short, sharp barks then an odd growl, deep and primal sounding. He knows instantly what it means, having picked it specifically for one thing only. The thought of actually having to hear it never really sank into his mind, only putting it there as a precaution.

Megumi took a step forward and began lowering his tightned fists only to be stopped has he felt something click around his wrist.
"What-" Megumi started, whipping his head around to look. A metal handcuff was clipped into his thin wrist and Megumi felt his dark eyes widen.
A man stood beside him, his hair was blonde and tied into a scruffy ponytail. One of his hands was locked into the handcuff with Megumis' and the other held a pale green notebook with "Ideals" scrawled accross the cover. He was dressed formally and he had bright emerald eyes that sat behind a basic pair of glasses.
Megumi looked at him, his mouth moved to speak but no words came out.
"I'll have to stop you to stop right here, kid" the man said with a serious yet somewhat gentle voice "I'm going to need to ask you some questions."

It was simply test an ability so that nothing would go wrong on the mission. Staring in horror at the screen, Akutagawa decided to revamp the idea that he had about Atsushi's childhood. There was no fucking orphanage that treated people like this without being called an experimentation facility. Why in the world was Atsushi so involved in the Great War?! Everyone they saw on the screen were fucking kids.
Dazai felt his face drop. Atsushi and him might be more alike then he thought in terms of hiding their emotions.

The orphanage was much more involved in the government than originally thought and much more involved in the war too. It made since though, since who doesn't love obedient children with no sense of support or time. They'll believe whatever the headmaster and the employees will say.(The fanfic is ideas I put together about Atsushi's childhood and some lore that has been stuck in my mind. The ages of people might be a little wonky though but I'll try my best to make in cohesive)
