Before they can make their fateful wish at the Favor Tree, a mysterious voice pops into Siffrin’s head and says, “Don’t do it. Just tell them how you feel.” This seems like the best of both worlds — keeping his found family without subjecting himself to time loop torture. But the problems they faced before don’t just disappear, and sometimes a fella has to make their own mistakes.

Right. Mirabelle will stay here, or maybe go off on a pilgrimage all on her own. Isabeau will go back to Jouvente to pursue his dream. Bonnie back to their sister. And Odile to Ka Bue.
And you…well, you’ll return to traveling, of course. Just like before. That’s fine. It’s what you’ve always done. It won’t be any different than it was before.You’re just glad that this story had a happy ending.
A moment of hesitation and a faint memory leads Siffrin to make a different wish at the Favor Tree. The party of saviors find their final quest goes much more smoothly than they might have anticipated.
This is not a good thing.

Kidnapped mid-quest, Siffrin finds themself trapped in an alien scientific facility with . . . someone else. Together, they must escape and find their way back to their family, but it won't be easy, and assimilating back into their place with the Saviors of the Vaugarde System proves much more difficult than initially anticipated.
Or: Loop makes friends with a genetically-modified Barry, becomes a star through unethical experimentation, and when they get back to their friends, finds themself replaced by another them.
[Note: despite technically being a crossover this mainly focuses on the isat side of things. What if barry was in an isat space au kind of thing.]

A cycle that just keeps going keeps getting tighter keeps constricting around you burning hot like sunburn from a shrinking spotlight until you're stuck center stage and you can't move.
You can feel them pressing around you the harder you try to ignore them. Your friends. If you raised your eye, would you do it at just the wrong time - would you find them looking at you? You don't think they even want to see you, really. They just can't seem to leave the blinding stage, just like you can't.
You need to move. You need to do something other than stay here.
