Drow. Dark Elves. Dökkálfar. All the same name for the sub-race of the Elves. Dark, evil, malicious - that's what they are known for. And it's true...for the most part. There is an exception in every race that breaks the stereotype. This just so happens to be such a story of a young man banished under a pretty mission of obtaining "glory".
Leif is a half-drow, born to a powerful mistress named Lolth. Raised to be the best assassin by her, he is sent away to the mainland of Middle Earth to earn the respect of his people and be able to return home as a somebody. However, Leif, for all his bloodthirst and streaks of cruelty, gets sucked into adventures and quests that change the world. He meets new people that chip away at his cold heart, who in their own ways (either knowingly or unknowingly) begin to make him question his place amongst the Dökkálfar and whether or not he wants to return to such a cruel place.
Over the course of his journeys Leif discovers that it isn't punished to help others, to be kind and to love. Leif, over his quest to find acceptance, finds himself with something greater than the hollow glory he was banished to find; friends, family...and love.

On the day before moving into university halls (leaving it a bit late), the Fellowship, plus some others, are added to a group chat to get to know the people they will be living with for the next year. What could possibly go wrong with all these characters living under the same roof?
Expect lots of teasing and (mostly friendly) tormenting, a concerning number of things getting broken, and way less sleep than is at all healthy.
In case it isn't already abundantly obvious, I did not create these characters, nor do I own them. I'm also definitely not the first to write in this AU either; this was inspired by a lot of brilliant and funny works which I loved reading.

Eleven year old, Legolas Greenleaf (Thranduilion) is sent to Hogwarts to learn about Wizardry and witchcraft as he himself has magical powers. His father, Thranduil Greenleaf lives at Greenwood Manor not from the Borrow. Though few know this but Legolas is frightfully afraid and doesn't want to leave his beloved home the forest of Greenwood the Great. Greenwood Manor is the porthole from Middle Earth to London, England. The house is kept by servants of the King's household from the forest. Legolas is an elf and has to keep that fact hidden. He meets Harry Potter, famous for his scar above his head.
