Every time this happened, Atomizer questioned why he let Getaway do this to him. And every time, it was the same answer: because he kind of slagging loved it. The challenge of trying to control his own responses to the MTO's relentless teasing, the thrill of the possibility of discovery, the incredible pleasure he got in return, it was all too good to refuse.
And perhaps the most addicting reason of all - just for a little while, just for a few stolen moments in a quiet cargo bay, Atomizer felt like he was special to someone. If only Getaway felt the same.

Swerve had this story, It was called, ‘I’m stupidly in love with someone who doesn’t see me as anything more than a friend’ and it starred him and Skids with special guest appearances by Blue Streak and Ten.
Swerve hated to tell this story, but it was the only one the gossips at the bar wanted to hear. The irony. Swerve sucked up his discomfort because he’d rather have them laugh than be ignored again. He chuckled and smiled through their teasing remarks, as if he didn’t know he didn’t have a chance. It the world's most embarrassing crush, and he was sick of it. If only Skids had gotten the memo and stopped being Skids around him, maybe then Swerve could move on and forget about him.
And maybe, they could focus on something else. Like the fact OverLord was in the bottom of their ship and someone might be trying to start a coup.
