Summary
Barry Allen, professional struggler, is making his way through university, although painfully. His sister desperately wants him to accept help but no matter her protests he'll never accept it. Ignoring the concept of mental health and social life, he doesn't like the idea of being seen as pathetic or god forbid disabled(In which despite his best attempts he still is both). And due to that fear he'll do anything but help himself, because the first step to getting help is admitting you need it. Something he'll never do.
But maybe the turning of a new leaf all begins one night at 3am at the only open coffee shop?

En la noche del 18 de Marzo del año 2000, ocurrió un evento imposible de explicar... Nora Allen fue asesinada durante un allanamiento en el que su casa fue envuelta en relámpagos, desde adentro, y un par de personas en trajes parecian correr de un lado al otro mientras peleaban. Todo esto fue visto por su hija, Bernadette "Betty" Allen, quien fue encontrada poco después a unas cuadras de distancia de su casa, para cuando todo terminó la pequeña niña vio a su padre ser arrestado por el homicidio de su madre, y nadie le quiso hacer caso cuando ella trato de explicar lo que vio.
Mientras que no muy lejos de la escena del crimen, un suceso casi similar ocurrió... solo que esto terminó como un accidente automovilístico, donde una pareja murió cuando su auto trato de esquivar lo que parecía ser un borrón amarillo que emanaba relámpagos rojos, el único superviviente de este suceso fue el pequeño niño de la pareja que milagrosamente se encontró en su asiento para bebés en una parada de autobuses a unos metros de distancia del lugar.Series

Barry is waiting in the entryway of their house when Hal gets home, still dressed in the same pajamas he’d been wearing this morning.
“The aliens are hiring tomorrow.” he informs Hal. “Be there. You’ll look better in green than brown.”
“The aliens are hiring, got it.” Hal placates, used to his husband’s oddness. “Anything else?”
“We’re out of spicy ramen.” Without another word, Barry turns and walks back up the stairs.
Barry had been perfectly normal up until his lab accident four years ago, but the accident changed that. Despite being largely unharmed physically, mentally he lives in his own dream world that is only somewhat grounded in the real world.
There’s no medical grounds to institutionalize him- he’s 28, he can take care of himself, he has no other chronic health conditions and he’s not a risk to himself or others, just…weird.
