Summary
Peace has been restored to Megapolis after the harrowing defeat of the Lady Bone Demon, thanks to the Monkie Kid and his promiscuous friends. With serenity afoot, the demons have fled to the shadows with the idea of Immortals known to the mortal eye. Months have passed, with very little happening and the world at rest, until sudden danger lurks around the corner. Word begins to pick up on the local news of a mysterious substance called "Decay" spreading from island to island off the coast of China—seemingly turning whatever it touches to stone, killing life around it and which, seemingly, cannot be broken, no matter the holy weapon or the power of a vengeful god. Nobody knows of the source of this material, nor does anyone know how to stop the spread of it, causing a tangent of irked fear to fill the public's hearts of the unknown. That is, until one fateful and pouring evening amid April, when a duo of unexpected and unfamiliar faces—a tiny owlet with a deformed wing and a bipedal white feline—stumble into the humble abode of "Pigsy's Noodle Shop," determined to fulfill their quest of stopping the spreading Decay. One can only ask: what lurks in the unknown from the beyond?

Summary
There is a world beneath Niwen.
Or so the little masked shadow claims. He claims a lot of things. That when the sun sets, a horde of monsters emerge from nowhere to prey on the vulnerable. That every night, creatures retreat into their homes as an army of darkness sweeps through the trees like a deadly fog, ensuring Niwen can rest knowing it is safe. That darkness is not another name for Decay, but the greatest ally the light has ever known.
But Niwen has never heard of any of it. Not Seir, not Ori, not his children. No one in the society that grew in the hundred years since the land was saved has seen even a glimpse of his kind.
The night is empty. The night is silent. He’s all alone, and the way home is gone. Something terrible is happening, and he needs to find out what.
It’s time to be strong, and it’s time to be brave.

Summary
She let out another whimper. She was going to die. This beast that had driven off the owls was going to kill her, maybe eat her. She thought of those two statues back at her nest; her parents, who stood guard eternally, their wings drawn protectively around the shelter, hollow eyes gazing down. Maybe she would meet them.
“Open your eyes, little owlet. You are safe now.”
-Baur's Reach has fallen into winter when he finds and brings home a hurt owlet, one with no parents or home to return to. He tries his best to care for her, but she is hurting, and her wounds run deeper than the eye can see. He may not be able to undo all the damage, but he can give her a second chance.
