    Summary

Meira has heard the vicious rumors about Viago de Riva's right hand and personal assassin, Vero. Enough to make her curious, if not a little concerned.

Lucanis needs Viago to provide him with a particular poison. And Viago insists one must visit House de Riva's villa in the countryside to collect it — the villa where he lives with Vero. Reluctantly, Lucanis goes, and takes Meira along with him.

Meira is determined to learn whether what's said about Vero is true... and maybe befriend them in the process.

    Summary

It seems these days, Lucanis Dellamorte's jobs are never simple. His contract? Kill one Magister Ferris Henric.
As a Crow, Caterina's chosen no less, he's supposed to do his job and return for the next one. However, he hadn't accounted on finding life, intelligent life, in this workshop. Lucanis finds himself at a crossroads. Remedy the situation himself, or walk away, job completed, and hope no one else comes across this place and finishes the magister's work themselves.
    Good thing Illario wasn't here.

To her, this was everything. She had heard talk of this supposed world outside this dark chamber. Here she was surrounded by things similar but not quite the same as her. Her time for freedom was limited, that she knew, but each attempt at freedom was met with sharp, shocking punishments.
Then one day, someone new stood before her. Clothes stained red as he regarded her with eyes that seemed cold, but like her enclosure, it was merely a barrier between her and the world.

    Summary

“For the longest time, I hoped you’d just been careless,” Lucanis said finally. “I sat in the dark and prayed to anything that might still listen that it had only been a slip-up, a mistake — a thoughtless comment you had made in the wrong place, at the wrong time. That maybe you’d been drunk, or angry, or wanted to impress someone. I entertained any hopeful hypothetical you could care to name.”

Illario sneered. “Always so eager to imagine my incompetence, cousin.”

“As opposed to what, Illario?” Lucanis said sharply. “What should I have imagined, instead? The truth?”

After the events of the game, the Dellamorte cousins have a long overdue conversation.

    Summary

Meira looked up from the book. “What are you doing?”

    “Nothing. Keep going.”

    “You’re not listening.”

“I am so. Paolo has climbed the prow of the ship, to duel the Pirate King for the hand of Nadia.” He yawned. “I thought this novel was supposed to be about Crows.”

“It is about Crows. Paolo is a Crow.”

“He is a stupid Crow,” Lucanis complained. “He should have snuck on board before the Pirate King awoke and slit his throat. That’s what I would do.”

    Summary

Rook De Riva has always been able to keep her past in the shadows, a fitting talent, considering she was once a Master Assassin for the Antivan Crows. But when a mission gone awry leads to two ancient elven gods being freed, she is forced to turn to a ghost from her childhood for help. Lucanis Dellamorte is Rook’s best shot at protecting the veil, but the more time she spends with him, the more she fears he’ll find out he’s not the only one battling their inner demons. As memories of their shared past resurface, so do Rook’s feelings for the man who once unknowingly held her heart.

A blend of in game events and other Dragon Age Lore, this story dives into the darker history of the Antiva Crows, and explores the backstories of Lucanis, Teia, Viago, and Illario in more depth. Additional Rook/Lucanis romance scenes that were cut from the game are sure to be included, such as a dip in the lake, some 1:1 time in a gondola, and a few other scenarios with a little Spite…erm I MEAN… spice… ;)

    Summary

Bryony’s feet ached, her heeled boots chafing after a long shift. But her coin pouch was heavy with the evening’s tips, and there was only a little longer to go.

Dreaming fondly of her bed, she was carrying a tray of empty glasses to the back when her friend Jade pulled her into a quiet nook. Standing close behind her, she used Bryn’s hips to orient her in the direction she wanted her to look.

    “Who is he?” she asked.

“Lucanis Dellamorte." Jade purred with no small amount of satisfaction.

    -----

It begins on a night like any other, and yet... and yet.

Once they fall into each other's orbit, they are unable to pull away. Both with something the other desperately needs, Bryony and Lucanis enter into a mutually beneficial arrangement that naturally turns into something more.

    Summary

“Meira, have you had enough of this bag of wind yet?”

“Er,” Meira said. “Master Viago and I—”

“Oh please, do not call him that. It will only inflate his already massive ego.” Lucanis darted to the alcove with the terrarium. He dropped to one knee, bringing his face close to the glass. “How are you?” he asked, quite seriously, to the snakes.

“If you fail to adhere to that sign I will kill you myself,” Viago called with grim cheer, studying the letter in his hands.

“What is that, you say? Viago de Riva is a cruel, cruel man and you crave the warmth of the sun?”

    “Lucanis,” Meira said quietly.

    -

Meira and Lucanis travel to Salle to entreat with House de Riva on behalf of Divine Victoria. Viago makes things characteristically difficult.

    Summary

    House Dellamorte is cursed.

Or so the whispers go. An entire bloodline nearly extinguished in a single, brutal night—slaughtered without mercy, leaving only the First Talon and her two young grandsons behind.
How does a House survive such ruin? How does it breathe through grief thick enough to drown?

Caterina wears their loss like armor; choosing pain, choosing punishment, over pyres. Lucanis maps the secrets of the house, quiet and watchful, already half in shadow. Illario, charismatic and angry, finds the questions he longs to ask dead on his tongue.

A character study of House Dellamorte, tracing the shadows cast in the years before Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Content warnings: mentions of abuse, canon-typical violence, mentions of child abuse.

This was written as part of the Dragon Age Big Bang and was illustrated by Slytherkins .

    Summary

“I did not ask for this. I was merely —”

“Finishing a contract. Right.” Illario’s tone remains even, but there is a bitterness which undercuts it. “Promise me you’ll turn her down. I wouldn’t make you do this anymore. You know that, Lucanis. You wouldn’t have to kill, if I were to take Caterina’s place.”

It’s a nice thought but a foreign one. In a way, he is a blade honed — first by his grandmother’s hands, and then later by the rest of the Crows. What would he do if not this? What life would he have when what remains of his family is here, and yet… if he does nothing he risks losing it all the same.

Still, his tongue presses to the back of his teeth, and his throat tightens, unable to give Illario an answer.

“And, you’re evasive. Again.” Illario laughs to himself — bitter, vile, and a bit exhausted. “I should have expected less. Of course, you’d listen to any order given to you. What about mine, then?”

Illario pauses. His eyes darken, and there is a shift in the air between them.

    “Lucanis, would you obey me?”
