We don't really read or watch OPM but. This is the fic we found a couple years ago that made us curious enough to try it out. And, now that we've found it again at a reasonable time (i.e. not 2 am), that has only served us better. The prose is immaculate, the style absolutely lovely, and the interactions between Genos and Saitama are A+. The authors note said people referred to this as a “bitch slap in the feels”, and that fits it to a T. We didn't have to know these characters the first time around to feel for them, to struggle with them, and to see the hints of romance in their actions before they did. This time around, knowing these characters, only made it an incredibly beautiful experience. Re-read this when you feel sad, and lost, or nothing at all. We don't need to cry with this one, and that only makes it sweeter :)
