Maybe it’s the lingering adrenaline from the false alarm a moment ago, but Mike suddenly has a bad feeling deep in his gut. Something is off. Slowly, he walks around to look at Chrissy’s face.

Will always felt a little guilty whenever he did it. The world was ending, people were dying, Max was still in a coma, Jonathan was injured, any trip outside ran the risk of demodog attack, anyone could be Vecna’d at any time, even Hopper looked scared most of the time, and, to be short, everything looked a bit hopeless and gone to shit. So it didn’t feel like a great use of time to rub one out.
But, God, things were stressful. Because of, well, all of the above. So you had to do something. Murray drank, Mom smoked, Hopper smoked, Jonathan smoked weed, Steve ... was definitely on something, possibly glue, Dustin chewed sunflower seeds constantly, Mike – he didn’t know about Mike, but he was jittery as hell. And Will masturbated.

Will Byers was back for the first time in 4 years. His excuse for a dad had finally been kicked out and now he was being dragged back to Hawkins, the last place he ever thought he'd see again. When a group of young outcasts ask him to join their band, he accepts and starts his new life, but the past never stays in the past and old memories are brought up. Ones that he wished he could forget.
