Unfortunately for her, the past has a way of sneaking up on people and she bumps into someone who she'd rather not speak to again. Now with bridges burned and nothing left but ash and dust, she has to decide if she wants to leave things on speaking terms.
or the author thinks that princess bubblegum's development in the show could have been a bit better (in terms of receiving punishments for previous actions) even though she remains one of their favorite characters despite this and wants to do her complexity justice.

Once upon a time in Candyland. The Kingdom ruled by King William Quill Timothy Tollwood Gary Jerry Pepperpatty the Seventh, was recovering from the war with the kingdom of vegetables. Forces, led by the Patriarch of the colleges, Drapple, within the king's court felt as though the war should have never stopped and plotted against the king. When the extremists struck it was chaos, communication with the capital was lost. Patrols of the traitors hunted down loyalists everywhere from the Hard Rock Mountains to the Fizzy Pop Mire. One of these few loyalists left was Sir Tomsworth, the gummy bear, and here is his tale.
I wrote this story for a creative writing class in high school. I had a of fun writing it.

Like somewhere down there she could still see the man who had fathered her in the end of the world when both of her parents had left her. It was like a taunt.
“You do?” He exclaimed in a shocked yet delighted voice, and she saw the twitch of delight in his frosty white irises. She could see her own reflection in his pupils. They were Simon's eyes, but the warmth and the love that had been in his eyes when he looked at her was now gone. And it was just replaced with the Ice King.
