Alas, the living are only human, feeble to the cosmos' delicacies. Ergo, what this echo witnesses makes it question if the will it encompasses is worth being fulfilled.

The hunt has a habit of weaving and tangling lives together. Perhaps only for a moment, and only crossing paths. Six hunters each have their own reasons for enduring the night of the hunt and their own sacrifices that have been made. From a church candle lighter, a dishonored Knight of Cainhurst, a forgotten man, a bloodline witch, and two outsiders; each will learn about the nature of the hunt and what it means to fight off the beastly scourge. The nightmare awaits to those that fail.
*This is a fic inspired by deep dives of Bloodborne lore that I've done, the Paleblood Hunt, and a few other things. It is an alternative ending to the game that I tried to be as canon compliant as possible with.

However, this wild curiosity led them to repeat the same mistakes as their predecessors. This is how their dreams turned into a nightmare.
