Summary
Strange people and strange happenings have long been rumored to dwell in the darkness. Of course, hoaxes and hysteria have long fueled most of those rumors. Some have even been attributed to the supernatural. Yet, though time has obscured the truth, a handful of events remain difficult to explain even today, and a disproportionate number of them seem to have occurred during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
I, a researcher in the early 2020s, began learning of some of these more unlikely and unusual happenings that are seldom found outside forgotten tomes and library archives quite by accident, and have taken it upon myself to piece together what happened, no matter how unlikely these events may seem...
I hope it will thrill you.
It may shock you.
It might even horrify you.
So if you feel you would not care to subject your nerves to such a strain, now is your chance to, eh… well, I warned you!
(A modern researcher in the "real" world starts finding evidence of the events of the Universal Monsters universe having happened in the past.)

Summary
After performing the exorcism to sever her bond with her father Dracula, Countess Marya Zaleska seeks freedom from the darkness that has haunted her for centuries.
But freedom proves elusive.
In the shadowed streets of London, she encounters Elisabeth Locke, a young, timid artist whose beauty and vulnerability awaken something perilous within the Countess. A connection stirs between them: fascination, temptation, and something darker neither dares to name.
As Marya fights against her own monstrous nature and forbidden desires, Elisabeth finds herself drawn ever deeper into the Countess’s world.... where art, obsession, and hunger intertwine.
