    At that, Erik nodded. It was something that he couldn’t fault. After all, it wasn’t that Charles was just making excuses, he knew all too well how kids could be. Pietro was much the same way. And Erik as well, if he was being honest.

    “Alright, that sounds good to me. Whenever you get the chance, I just want to spend more time with you.”

    The first fic in this series tries to answer the question of "what would need to be different for that to happen?" The second fic explores the aftermath of ep 9 and how things have changed.

    "Well..."

    Foggy sucks in a sharp breath. "Oh, fuck. Oh no. No, no, no. Don't tell me—oh, for fuck's sake!"

    "No, Foggy, she didn't walk in on anything!" Matt's quick to assure him, and yeah, thank God for that, because that would've been even more awkward and terrible than it already is. "She found condom wrappers. And possibly, the used ones in the trashcan," Matt mutters the last part under his breath, not that it does him much good, because Foggy still hears.

    "That's it. I'm done." Foggy sounds like he's about to throw his phone across the room and Matt can hear him shifting, likely about to get off the bed and start pacing the length of his apartment.

     

    (Or, Maggie thinks Matt has a girlfriend. Who happens to be his... casual sex Frank Castle. Somehow, she becomes the last push they both needed.)
