The staring never stopped, rather it escalated with the sound of a footstep closer, along with the scraping of wires and the IV pole moving along with it. Afterwards another step, and another. Until Nakahara could see his creation up close.
A feast of one’s eyes was all it took to realise the great error he had made. Long, dark, curly hair and the same exact expression of him from all those years ago.

And so, after grieving for the life, family and friends they couldn’t return to, Soukoku decided to recreate a new home and family in this unfamiliar but black-and-white world they kind of hated; a home slightly similar to what they all had in the past in their previous world; the Port Mafia in Yokohama which operated in the gray.
(In which, Soukoku managed to build a healthier version of Port Mafia—if you see it in a certain point of view—and gain a new family made up of members lost in this black and white society.
Also, Soukoku were undoubtedly whipped for each other).
A/N : I promise this is different from the typical Soukoku going into UA as students story! As they won’t go to UA here and instead focusing on the new Port Mafia. Though, there are still UA and LOV here.

Everything was going good, until Osamu manifested his quirk, and his older brother didn't.

This is absolute tooth-rotting fluff, like don't read if you like your teeth. Here, take this as an example.
He glanced away and found that when he looked back, the prince had a red camelia in his hand and was standing closer to his location.
“Dazai? What did you need?” Chuuya asked, even as he stared at the taller man in front of him. His face basked in the warmth of the sun.
“Oh, nothing, just come here, Chuuya.” His words were monotone, not showing much of what mischief he could be planning. Why did Chuuya have a bad feeling about this… But either way, orders were orders.
Slowly, the redhead walked a bit closer. Only by three steps, now he was about two feet from the man. A neutral expression on his face, even as his azure eyes examined the prince's form for any sort of injury or something of the sort.
That only earned a laugh from the man, though. Slowly, he took another step closer. Hand going and placing itself on the shorter’s shoulder, while the other tucked the red camelia behind his ear.

When the Port Mafia raids an enemy’s secret facility, the raid being led by Chuuya Nakahara, Chuuya comes across a small cage in a basement, with an even smaller, malnourished, brunette man inside. He’s wearing nothing but underwear and is covered in bruises, scars and bandages. His name tag on the cage says “Name: Osamu Dazai - Ability: No Longer Human.” When Chuuya looks into Dazai’s eyes, he can’t help but be reminded of himself when he was locked away and tortured as a lab experiment, and without a second thought, he saves Dazai and takes him with him back to the Mafia.
Or: Dazai, who was being kept at a secret facility that was experimenting on him for his ability, is saved by Chuuya, who brings him back to the Port Mafia where he meets Mori who strikes him a deal.
Dazai is 18 and Chuuya is 22! Also, Dazai is 5’3 and Chuuya is 5’11! I switched their canon heights cause I wanted Dazai to be smol lol.
(This fic is temporarily on hold because I am writing an original book that's inspired by my ideas for this this fic, but bc I don't want the book to get copyrighted, I will hold off on finishing this fic and try to come up with a different plot for the story.)
