But he didn't expect to be rescued, and stranded on a deserted isle. At least he thinks its deserted. He can't find his rescuer, but every morning there's a pile of freshly caught fish on the beach. And at night he can see someone out in the water watching him from just beyond his campfire's light.
They refuse to come talk to him, but every time he tries to drown himself they pull him back from the brink of death.
Is this just a cruel game, or maybe Goro has found someone to help him find the value he feels his life has lost.

Tommy thrashed around, trying to swim up towards the surface for air because he needed it. He couldn’t breathe, he was submerged and he was kicking and pulling at the water, which was getting darker and colder the lower he got.
After a moment, he knew it was no use, he couldn’t see the cliff, or the clouds or the sun. The cold around him dragged him lower and lower, his lunges felt heavy and were burning with the need for air. Tommy looked around for a Siren, he knew he had some Siren friends that cared about him, but would they find him in time?

Ow. My heart, my soul. They're both in pieces because of this oneshot. When it becomes evident that Sora and the others are looking for Riku and they won't make it in time I started hearing Chou from Fatal Frame 2 in my head and remembering Mio chasing after Mayu's butterfly. This oneshot is amazing, but I wish it wasn't a oneshot because it has so much potential for a multi-chapter story. 9 out of 10 and definitely do recommend this. <3!
