Clyde Logan is in a good place a year after the aptly named Hillbilly Heist. He's purchased the Duck Tape Bar, and his family is safe and happy. If he's a bit lonely at times, that's okay.
Rey Niima is not in a good place one month after completing her apprenticeship at Solo Auto Repair. Her employer has just passed away, and she's lost her friend/boss/mentor, job, and apartment.
With no prospects and a relatively meager savings account, she follows her best friend and pseudo-brother Hux to Boone County, West Virginia. Technically, they don't even live in a town. But, Turtle Creek is as good a place as any to start over. It's quiet. And the bartender is quite handsome.
All non-con is past; none is between main characters. Hence, no archive warnings.
