Little did he know that when Sam walked away from him and John, he walked back to Lainey and Bobby Singer, still looking to salvage some part of the family he'd grown up with, and while Dean's been off helping their dad with the family business, Sam's been building a whole new life that Dean's even less welcome in than he'd already thought.
