In the vision, she glances up at him, cheeks dimpling as she fixes him with a fond smile, and leans in to press a soft, sweet kiss against his lips that ignites a heat like a roaring fireplace inside his chest — both versions, current and future, affected.
With a jolt, Hunter realizes why she looks so familiar — this woman, this absolute angel his future self adores with all his heart, is an older version of the witch currently standing in front of him, soft hands splayed over the edges of the crystal ball, dwarfed by his own clumsy, gloved hands wrapped around them. With a gasp, Hunter pulls back, thankful she can't see how utterly spellbound he looks beneath his mask.
