A half-demon born with it seeping out of his veins.Kurai Shiratori spent her entire life in an isolated temple with her cruel grandmother until fate stepped in and she fell into the bone eaters well, her family sword clutched in hand. Kurai finds herself in an unknown world of demons, holy power and priestesses. An enormous prophecy has fallen into Kurai's lap as the Goddess of Death's new challenger, and the only one who can help her fulfil it is Inuyasha, a cruel, violent and downright egotistical half-demon whose only goal is to claim the Shikon Jewel, become a full demon and go on a murderous rampage.
Kurai isn't powerful, brave or strong, but if fulfilling this prophecy means that she can maybe save some people, then she'll give it a try, but with Inuyasha in tow, saving people or even managing to keep them alive is difficult. The sexual tension and violent tendencies between the two of them often cause blades or claws to each other's throats with threats to kill eachother, but something stops them from doing it every time...

Lady Kaede blinked once in surprise before she nodded. “Yes, that’s right. All places you lot traveled around the most. The demon howled and demanded that we ‘return his bride to him’ or he would steal one of our pack until we did.”
“Return his bride?” Sango asked. “Just, who does that thing think is his bride?”
"Isn't it obvious?" Miroku asked, eyes locked onto the storm outside.
