    Now that he's fifteen, he gets a long-awaited chance to leave the clan compound on a pokemon journey! Finally, out of the shadow of a family that knows no failure. Or so he thinks.

    Unfortunately for Mare, civil unrest has a bit of a habit of causing complications. It's been two decades since Indigo officially unified, but tensions are rising between Kanto and Johto once more.

    Join Mare and company as they are roped into an elaborate ploy to de-escalate the flames of war, hopefully before they erupt into an all-out conflagration!

    What readers can expect:

    -Releases once per week minimum with extra chapters when I can

    -Careful consideration for the political structures in place and how they operate together

    -A darker and more realistic take on Pokémon overall, including occasional graphic violence

    -Strong undercurrents of romance. The inspiration for this story was some combination of I will Touch the Skies, Pearl Harbor, and Cold Mountain.
