Summary
During his travels, teenage genius Miles Prower tracks the energy of the legendary Chaos Emeralds to a quaint place known as West Side Island. Here, he meets Nicky, a young hedgehog with a love of freedom, pride in his speed, and a desire to see the world. The Battle Kukku Empire, old enemies of the two-tailed fox, have also come seeking the mystical minerals for their own ends. To stop the antagonistic avians, Miles races across the island to collect the Emeralds before they do. At the same time, he must also deal with having a fearless, stubborn, and somewhat impulsive spiny boy along for the ride, and it only gets more complicated from there...
